Modern apartment, nice decor, comfortable bed. Nicely furnished and equipped for short stay. Brilliant, helpful reception staff. Simple breakfast but of decent quality and choice. Shopping mall incl Carrefour directly opposite. Secure parking - entrance on street to side of hotel. Worth checking location on map in advance. Very handy for car ferry. Short walk (10-15 -20 mins) to main restaurant area. Two restaurants within 5 mins (incl terrific Wok).

The two bedroom apartment was clean and very spacious with a big bathroom and a kitchenette. We didn’t use the parking but it looked convenient. A nice 10-15 minute walk to the centre.

When we entered the apartment, the curtains were not pulled and it was too hot - it was 22 degrees outside but 29 degrees inside so it was too hot. The breakfast was not to our taste, in particular the scrambled eggs had a powder taste and didn’t taste as real eggs and we were disappointed.

Booked to visit nearby Utah, Omaha, etc. beaches on our own - they're around 45-60 minutes away by car, if you're doing it on your own the value for money is a lot better when branching out from Cherbourg. If you are old enough to know the movie Umbrellas of Cherbourg, there are plenty of easter eggs within 10 minutes walking distance. Really liked the location - right next to a big shopping center for food, but close to historical downtown. Cherbourg itself is very charming and this hotel is just the same. Clean, organized, helpful staff. The room was spacious and well accessorized to prepare simple meals. Parking gate was a little tight, but great to have a protected space for the car. You need to call ahead or pickup the card from the front desk, to open the garage gate in the side street. Staff were very helpful!

We couldn't figure out any air conditioning, admittedly we stayed for only two days that weren't too warm, so we didn't go after the topic too much. But simply following what was on the wall didn't do anything. It this is important for you, double check beforehand - but windows could be fully opened, so it's perfectly managable.

Great location, a few minutes walk from train station. Basic but comfortable room, bathroom and kitchenette. Lots of room for a single traveller. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality coffee (from machine) in the breakfast room, which for me is an essential! Continental breakfast is good quality and worth the added price.

It would be nice to have had an electric fan in the room as it was too noisy for me to sleep with the window open. But otherwise, no complaints at all.

The reception staff were amazing, the night shift girl was outstanding, helping me print out urgent stuff.. our ferry was cancelled, the price was good and good breakfast, I could park my car inside the garage property for 12euro, (peace of mind).

The parking is challenging to access as it's on a one-way street, so you need to go around a few blocks to find out how to get back. if not easy

Room was hot at night

We got a pet friendly uber from the port to the hotel as we had a lot of luggage. A very warm welcome upon arrival from the staff at reception. We stayed in a pet friendly room, which was huge. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable, we had a great night's sleep. The room is well equipped and has a fridge which is always an added bonus. It is also within walking distance of the train station and shopping centre.Can't wait to come back again, thank you for a lovely stay.

Clean, comfortable and very convenient for the ferry, station and town. The staff were lovely (even found be a tea bag when my British self needed a cuppa!) and there were coffee facilities and a fridge, stove etc in the room. Breakfast is from 5.30am and there’s a takeaway option - very useful for us getting the early train to Paris.

Nothing springs to mind

This AppartCity was a great surprise for us, the staff was super nice and helpful, we had access to a mini store and laundromat, everything was well thought out. The kids had access to a room next to reception to play board games. Perfect , great location, we went to La Cite de la Mer in a fifteen minute walk

I've stayed here before so I knew what to expect. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and effective. My window looked out towards the back and away from the main road, which is what I wanted (more quiet). Staff are friendly; the building is right across from a Carrefour and shopping centre and 7 minutes walk to the train station. I will definitely stay here again.
