The welcoming staff were so incredible. We had broken down on way home to UK and arrived before the room Was ready. The receptionist was so amazing, smiled and said help yourself to breakfast whilst waiting for your room and didn’t charge for this. Very impressed. She happily out our belongings safely in a room whilst waiting for our bedroom To be prepared. Felt very cared for.

Sadly our wonderful receptionist was not there when we left and the girl At reception was less forthcoming. She said we couldn’t leave our belongings in the office whilst we collected our car from the garage. She was very unhelpful and no smile. The manager came along and said of course we could leave our stuff. Maybe this receptionist needs to learn from the wonderful receptionist who initially welcomed us. It makes a lot of difference to encounter caring m, welcoming staff. I think they are partly key to giving the hotel a good reputation.

The hotel was clean and comfortable plus there was adequate parking.

Shortage of staff and those there were are poorly trained. In the morning there was no milk or orange juice and both hot drinks machines stopped working. Staff member was rude when we told her of the problem no doubt because she was also checking people out. Then despite having paid for the 2 rooms in advance we were asked for payment for 1 room again. A large queue built up while we were trying to sort it out. The girl was very rude and refused to accept a mistake had been made. However the real issue is understaffing and Ibis must accept responsibility for that. We have used Ibis many times before and been pleased and had no issues.

We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival with our golden retriever and the check in process was seamless and very fast! The entire hotel was spotless and the restaurant looked bright and sunny although we didn’t stay to eat on this occasion. The highlight for us was the extremely comfortable mattress and pillows! Absolutely 10/10.

Thé room itself was well worn, dated and in need of a fresh coat of paint. But it was very clean. And the bed made up for that! It would be superb for we dog owners if you had an enclosed garden space for our pets to run and stretch their legs after a long journey!

Beds were really comfortable, and aircon was much needed and appreciated. We loved the Italian lady helping with breakfasts. She was a breath of fresh air -any business would be lucky to have her as an employee. Breakfast was good.

Receptionist (older woman) didn't speak English. Deliberately, is my guess. I just think this kind of attitude sucks. Coffee machines could be better.

Very nice place for a stop! Super friendly staff and perfect value for money breakfast. The common arias nice and modern. Comfortable beds!

Hotel has EV Charging points 👍 In the apps they all showed available, when I arrived at 1 AM, all places where taken, … by non EV cars who just wanted to be 20m closer to the door … so … no charging! I understand what the super friendly staff say: ‘we can not control’ … but also I can’t 😉 a pitty, they offer the service, but guests can not enjoy it because no control of the actual usage of the EV charging stations!

The restaurant was closed for a private evening function. It would have been beneficial to have been told this prior to our arrival as we could have had something to eat before we arrived at the hotel. As it was , after a long journey, we had to get back in the car and find a restaurant that was open on a Sunday.

Really lovely place to stay. Clean

We arrived thirsty and hungry after a 7 hour drive. We asked what food was available to be told it was a salad bar only. So we had to do another drive to find food. As a hotel we thought there would have been other options. This was a first time using the Ibis group. Far more superior to other places we have stayed in so for a first time using this group was a huge let down.. Shame really because everything else was great.

Surprisingly nice, we just wanted a place to break the journey and this was one of the cheapest options. The bar/restaurant looked good, although we were too late to use it, nice room with a good bed and bathroom. Very nice boulangerie next door.

No complaints

Convenient, clean, good breakfast. Important that it allowed dogs.

When trying to let fog out for a weee about 5am the front door was locked and nobody around to met us out. Stressful and could have been embarrassing, poor dog

The only thing that let the stay down is i booked the hotel through booking.com at the price of £135 and when I checked out the cost was £170.40 and haven’t had any extras so I have asked booking.com for help with this but been told to email ibis so still waiting for an answer.
