Loved the spacious room and large balcony it was immaculate. Free secure car parking. Beautiful views on to the gardens, great for our young dog to run around. Could of easily stayed another night on our travels. Loved it

Just have your own shower wash and water to drink. As long as you understand it's a residential care home that rents out empty rooms you will be fine. It's a fabulous place, just a little strange...

An interesting choice which actually worked out really well. The building is a very upmarket modern residential care home set in its own patch of wonderful greenery and tall trees, all the better as it's located in a modern bit of the city new the university. That said, I parked in the shade safely and securely for a few days. My room was on the third floor, there's a lift. Actually it was a one bed apartment that was huge, very clean, had two sets of windows + balconies, aircon, a well equipped kitchenette (the fridge was the most useful thing during the 30 degrees of my stay), a very modern spacious shower room, TV, dining table and four chairs, and a sofa! I was after quiet and safe parking and it certainly delivered. It was 20 minutes walk to the lively old city centre (easy route that is flat) and there's a supermarket a few minutes walk away from the block. The older residents were very much in evidence during the day (they sit and chat, and amble around the surroundings) but they're very friendly and look happy. All in all, fantastic value for money and it really suited my needs. May not be for everyone as there are no guest services (ie the guest rooms are a side business) so as long as you're not expecting concierge or a bar, this could be for you!

Great space for us and our dog. The bathroom was lovely too. A nice walk into town and lots of greenery around to walk the dog. Staff were very friendly and helpfu.

The room was very sparce. Hardly any equipment for self-catering and not a picture or anything to soften the rooms. It was a great space, just needs some loving touches to make it homely and more welcoming.

Large apartment with kitchen and balcony in assisted-living block. Calm, quiet area with gardens and off-street parking. No chance of late night noise. Decent-sized Intermarche round the corner, walkable distance to Dijon. On-site dining room we did not use - too many options in Dijon. Worth a weekend stay (but no more). The group has these units in the block to cater for families visiting relatives and let them out to the general public. Do not be put off, it's very professional.

The unit is in an aged care facility which was a bit of a surprise. No info on the bookings site. It’s just a bit weird. The residents were good Unit is very spartan.

Located at 30 min walk from the center. We stayed for 2 nights with our dog and our room was big enough to make our stay comfortable. The staff are very kind and polite, patient if you do not speak French.

Definitely the furniture inside the room could be updated and in the kitchenette there weren't any cutlery. We paid for breakfast for 2 pp: the service was excellent (room service) but breakfast itself was very disappointing: we had stale bread served on the plate and the croissant+pain au chocolat were about 8cm long.

Staff were excellent and friendly and very helpful.

Had difficulty finding the location initially even with GPS sat Nav. Phones the hotel And had difficulty initially with language ie we speak very little French and receptionist spoke no English. However anGentleman with some English came to meet us and direct exactly to hotel. He was extremely helpful to us and helped advise re transport into Dijon and back etc.

The Vale for Money was second to none. The suite was large with a great bathroom.

The rooms exist for families of the mature guests who live permanently in the facility. If family are not using them then they are available to the general public. It does feel slightly odd staying in an old people's home.

Very good accommodation, a lot of space in the room, good bathroom, quite, so everything we needed. Private parking on the location, so very convenient by car. We walked to centre Dijon, which is about 20-30 minutes. Easy walking, so ideal as well. Everything was fine for us, and perfect for 1 night, or maybe 2- 3.

it was a lovely place to stay. peaceful and tranquil. breakfast delivered to your room.

it was a wee bit dirtier fom the city centre than expected.
