Excellent location fonvisiting Gorge Verdon. We spent a week there, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is 20 mins drive from the gorge, with less touristy routes in that area. The hotel staff recommended some memorable and picturesque hikes. The hotel itself is very comfortable. We stayed in the villa, and it felt like home. The living room was incredibly cozy, with a comfortable sofa, local lighting, and antique furniture that was in excellent condition. The engravings and paintings throughout the house were all authentic, which gave the whole place a wonderful character. The entire house was spotless and cleaned daily during our stay. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was very convenient, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The only thing we weren’t completely happy with was the breakfast. We couldn’t order hot dishes, like eggs or porridge, and all the breakfast options were served in small glass containers, which kept everything clean and fresh.

The location was lovely with nice views. Comfy bed and nice to have a private veranda. The hotel was lovely with a heated pool and tennis courts and helipad for jet setters. Nice gardens. Excellent food, at a price. Did not have breakfast but am sure it would be good. Quiet. Good wifi.

Room service was not the best. No complementary bottled water. Coffee was complementary but not replaced unless you asked. Also no kettle or teas unless you ask, again not replaced. No mugs. The liquid soap in the bathroom was broken so mentioned this and it was taken away but never replaced. Robe I used for swimming was torn so I put in shower for replacing but again had to ask for another as it was not done automatically. (It was replaced with the same one.) One bedside reading light was loose on wall and did not work although they are so out of charater with the rest of the room I'd get rid of them. Shower head could do with being replaced as could the rather cheap and loose toilet seat.

The bed and pillows were super comfy (firm mattress) and allowed me to get an amazing night of sleep since leaving home three days earlier. The hotel we stayed in between was a top luxury hotel in st Jean cap and their beds were not as good (too soft and like memory foam) I loved the idea of express breakfast. The lady at reception was lovely and helpful.

We didn’t need the extra sofa bed. The garden view could be better.

We rented the villa with private pool and that was perfect for our family of 6. super kind staff. Restaurant good.

In principle only housekeepers every 3 days which is not what we expected when booking since we booked with the hotel. You can ask for more housekeeping but from your mobile amd they will come nut it is rather awkward.

The room was fabulous, food phenominal plus lovely staff. All was calm in the magnificent setting. Loved being able to have a little go on the piano in the evening. A lovely couple moved inside and wanted me to play more but it was quite late by then!

My husband and I wanted to enjoy a swim before breakfast as it was our last morning kept watching for the pool maintenance to be completed. We went down to the pool at 8.30 so it wasn't that early. waited till 9 onwards but still wasn't finished.

Lovely traditional French hotel with a peaceful ambience in a great location to visit the Verdon Park region. Lovely comfortable suite for a family of 4 with 2 bathrooms. The swimming pool area was very pleasant and friendly staff.

We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant.

We paid extra for a room with a terrace, but the weather turned on us and we did not get to enjoy it (not the hotel’s fault). So our room was a bit out of the way and we had to walk outdoors to get to it. However, it was a lovely room.

The restaurant is very very good. Lots of choices and very high culinary level. We would visit again 100% for the restaurant.

The rooms are very small. One can walk around the bed with difficulty. The whole property could need some refurbishment and a deeper cleaning.

The 4-bedroom apartment was located away from the main hotel building and was surrounded by a beautiful garden with a private pool (we didn't use it because it was still too cold), barbeque, and many places to sit and relax. the kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed cooking full meals for 6. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had a bathroom. The living room with a huge sofa allowed us to enjoy our evenings together as a family.
