The chalets and the gardens was lovely boheme and old style. Tennis court was nice extra! Garden games gave a big plus.

The one of the double beds of the cabin had a broken leg and the bed just felt down. Many things were a bit broken: toilet’s small flush, shower of the pool area, garden light etc. The decoration had a bit too worn outlook. Would be easy to fresh up. We did not get any advice or information for the chalet. The lock of the door of the chalet was tricky to lock. Restaurant: We did not get table in the restaurant for any evening. Glad we got table from Ermitage hotel even though they also said the restaurant is full.

The hotel was just great. The views were fantastic and the rooms were great. The bed was comfortable, a big bath in the room which was lovely. We made use of the lovely balcony and the pool area was nice. The breakfast was just right and everything was fresh. The staff were very accommodating and helpful! The shuttle back and forth to the town was ideal

It’s very charming and very French. Lovely patio for dinner/breakfast outside. The pool is great and lovely and calm. Some games for kids in the garden

There were challenges with stock for the restaurant. The rooms are charming but def worn and a bit dated. They don’t need to be super modern. The French brocante look works very well, but the walls and bathrooms have seen better days

Old world charm with superb, five star service from all staff. Dinner in the restaurant exquisite and superb value. Eat there if you can. Breakfast excellent. Very good bacon and scrambled egg, and superb , fresh and flaky croissant and pain au chocolat.

Room decor a tiny bit tired.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large with enormous beds, and bathrooms were lovely too. Breakfast had loads of choice and we ate dinner on the terrace one evening which was gorgeous. The swimming pool area was very nice though bar seemed to be manned only some of the time. The setting in the hills with Evian just a short ride away on the free to ride funicular train was great too.

The key to one of our rooms was a bit tricky to get the hang off - definitely a knack too it but it was a beautiful door! Also there is a lovely little bar at the front but I didn’t see that open during our stay- may have missed it or maybe used in winter perhaps.

Character and charm which is hard to compare with newer hotels, the aged look of the grounds is like a storybook. A treasured experience to consider when booking in Evian. Quiet location, very relaxing.

Bathroom need renovation and or more up keep. Mattresses are hit or miss in terms of comfort. But overall not the worst. Regardless it was a quiet and restful sleep.

The area and the hotel had a very elegant setting...it was very peaceful and calm....the staff were lovely...we spent 4 nights there and would go back....the food was so good too.

We felt the hotel could do with a little tlc in places and this could be done without losing it's lovely charm.

We would have liked to try the restaurant, but with a teenager we would have needed a simple option on the menu such as steak frites or burger

Hotel was clean, swimming pool quiet and location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was nice as outside the crowded centre and with the "old funiculaire" it was very easy to access the lake and town.
