Well, every single moment from when we entered the gates to this gorgeous historic establishment was just memorable. We were accompanied to our room which was very spacious, clean and had the most comfortable bed and pillows. View was superb of the chateau. Booked in for 2 hours in the spa for a relaxing time enjoying the warm jet waters, sauna and steam room. This time was most warranted to then laze on a recliner lounge for a much needed afternoon siesta after weeks of travelling. We came via train from Geneva and it was so easy to get the D tram then the C4 bus to the Chateau. We booked in for dinner and chose the 3 course set menu. WOW. Do yourself a favour and sit in amongst the family portraits in the dining room and emmerse yourself back into history. An absolute charm. Food was just stunning as was the service. What a delight. This place was so quiet and tranquil, and gave us as travellers the time we needed to unwind and relax Hats off to you guys and all the staff. ❤️

There is nothing to dislike!!

The hotel is a beautiful chateau which has kept many of its original features. Our room looked over the garden and swimming with a Juliet balcony. The breakfast was good and we had a lovely stay.

Unfortunately there was an event at the hotel so we couldn’t eat there. Pre-book at the hotel or a restaurant on the outskirts or in Grenoble. It is quite difficult to drive around Grenoble as quite a few ones-ways etc so on the outskirts is easier.. We eat at Brasserie Chavant, excellent food and I believe there are several ones in and around Grenoble. We couldn’t get into the one near the hotel as it was fully booked.

The beds!!! We've spent quite a bit of time in various hotels in France over the years. Here we found the best mattreses ever, even the kids were hyper impressed. We would come back just to enjoy them. Breakfast, though not that varied, was delicious. Parking spaces at ease

Whoever cleaned the room before our arrival missed some spots. Though there are 6 EV charging spots, the tourists park in such way that only 3 cars can be charged ( our BMW charging card does not work with the provider of the service :-) ).

Lovely location, great staff (especially the lady at Breakfast) food was excellent and the facilities were all top quality. Lovely setting, grounds were well kept and tidy and everyone welcomed us with a warm welcome.

The fact we were residence for 5 nights and could only book dinner for 1 evening was slightly disappointing, even though we tried to book that morning, perhaps we should have considered booking further in advance but normally residence dont have an issue booking dinner at the place of residence. Just did not need the walk to somewhere local after a long day riding bikes.

It’s a lovely property. The room was large but a bit worn. The staff were friendly and graciously allowed us an early check in. Book the (pricey) restaurant in advance - it was full when we visited so I can’t speak to the quality of the food. The pool area looked very nice but we didn’t have the opportunity to use it.

You have to pay to use the “Spa”. I think it was €10 an hour.

Good quiet location with parking Comfortable room

We were initially shown a different room which looked totally different to the one shown on our fully paid booking. The ceiling beams were very low ( my 6foot tall husband would have bumped his head )and the room had no space and the toilet was down some stairs. We complained and were shown to a different room after a further wait which was exactly as the photos showed We couldn’t explain why they tried to show us to a clearly very much inferior (and presumably cheaper )room so I feel I have to warn others. We were very happy with the final room which was exactly as shown on our booking.com photos.

Fantastic hotel, the staff are very friendly. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the food is fine dining, but you get a discount for staying in the hotel. The room was huge, with a view of the mountains from the bath! It’s amazing value, and we’d definitely go back next time we’re in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes department, fantastic level of hospitality and a very personal touch.

Very nice location, a bit outside the city - calm, with beautiful garden and swimming pool. Restaurant inside well furnished and stylish decorated. Very helpful personel, tasty breakfast.

Rooms are well decorated, maybe some decorations could be already replaced.

Comfy bed. Clean enough. Nice buildings. V friendly staff.

First two rooms we were given had not been touched by housekeeping- bed unmade, towels on the floor etc. Third room was fine and nice receptionist came over with us to check. The extra charge for the dog wasn't mentioned at check in.

Amazing hotel and lovely staff. Our stay was a birthday treat for my wife and we booked a massage. It was the best ever and we will be back. The food was excellent and the location first class.
