Second time staying here. Good location, slightly out of town but plenty of safe parking, friendly staff, very clean, nice dinner and breakfast. Good value for money. Supermarket across the road was useful too. Very impressed that the staff were helpful and welcoming to a coach load of Brit pensioners who didn't speak any french at all!

As with most hotels these days, the shower towels are small and barely cover you! Something a bit bigger would be appreciated!! 😄

Have stayed quite a few times here as its convenient from Cherbourg. Always a nice welcome from the staff. Comfy bed and everything clean and an excellent dinner. Was chilly in our room until we discovered the heater wasn't on, afterwards fine. We went down to breakfast around 7.30 the next morning to find there were slim pickings as a coach load of Brits had just left. Staff were concentrating on clearing tables but seemed to be a bit slow in replenishing the food.

It's always a pleasure to arrive at this hotel when we are travelling to our home in France after a UK visit. Being 40 minutes from Ouistreham ferry, it is ideally located just off the motorway and always welcoming, no matter how late our arrival. The rooms are basic, but quiet, spotlessly clean, with a comfortable 160cm bed and newly refurbished bathroom. The buffet breakfast is well stocked with fresh pastries, fruit and cooked items. Large carpark.

Location. Use this hotel and location at least once or twice a year.

Room was cold. The room seemed colder than outside. Reported to reception who checked settings but room never really got warmer. It was a cold night and would have been great if we had felt “cosy” but didn’t. International channels on tv did not work. Could have done with more than one tow per person

We have stayed here many times after crossing to Caen with Brittany Ferries. It is always comfortable, clean and convenient with plenty of free parking, helpful friendly staff and good Queen size beds. Recently refurbished rooms are quiet and well appointed, though not large. A good value night stop.

A hospitality tray would be a welcome addition in the room.

It was really great place to stay for access, parking, easy walking distance to Falaise. the evening meals were as good as the breakfasts. The staff were lovely and the whole place had a relaxed feel about it. the views from our room were fantastic over the valley to the castle.

The hotel is 2 km from the town centre situated on the ring road next to a large Leclerc supermarket. There is a big car park. The dinner was fine with a buffet starter and a main course.The room was not large but was comfortable.

There was no waste paper bin in the room - only in the bathroom.

We were with a group of classic car people. We liked the hotel because parking was good and we could walk into town. The room was a good size and the bathroom was good.

We liked the whole set-up, there were places to sit other than the restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good, and the breakfast also.

A hairdryer in the room, and - being English - a kettle!

Location was good as it was en route to where we were heading for. breakfast was standard Ibis continental.

Decor is too dark especially in bedrooms. Dark grey everywhere makes the place feel dirty and depressing Whoever decided to change colour scheme in Ibis hotels needs replacing.
