Very friendly host and welcome, the possibility to heat some food in microwave and store food in a fridge in the common kitchen area, beautiful surroundings with possibility to sit down and relax in the garden, nice variety of food and drinks at breakfast. Would definitely recommend even for longer stays

The driveway was a bit rocky and narrow, plus the wifi signal could be stronger but otherwise all okay!

It is a very good countryside hotel - very spacious, clean bathrooms. The host was exceptionally welcoming and the breakfast had a good variety (ham/cheese/youghurts/etc). There is a park and children playground, as well as many other commodities for young children (high chairs, toys, tables, etc). We also had access to a kitchen & a kettle/coffee making - it was a pleasant surprise (and we really needed that after a long drive during the day).

I would like to have given this place a higher score, although not as high as a 9. It's certainly an 8+. The accommodation is down a long driveway that ends with parking in a courtyard. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Our host spoke English and was very helpful answering our questions. It wasn't too far to drive into the city and to the supermarket.

Nothing, although it would have been nice to have some English language television. However, most places don't seem to have other languages available so it wasn't unexpected.

Excellent modernised facility in an out of the way location. Mark was so friendly and accommodating that we felt right at home. Right next door to Falaise eating out and visiting was easy. We had asked for a lactose and gluten free option which was met with an above average effort to supply food and drink options. The addition of a coffee/tea room is a nice touch. 2 hours down the road from Cherbourg an ideal stopping place as well as exploring the area for a few days.

Mark was very friendly,the situation superb. Our rooms were massive and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and more than I expected. The games room though was was the best-pool table for my boys.

We had a fully fitted kitchen that we could use . But a few sachets of coffee and milk would have been appreciated.

The host, the buildings, the breakfasts were outstanding as was the bed comfort. The host took time to welcome us and make recommendations to where we could go out for dinner and historical buildings within the area which we were interested in. Across from our room was a guest area where we could take in our own microwave meal to heat up along with coffee and tea making facilities. The continental breakfast matched the quality of the property and the host. The peace and tranquility of the whole environment was much to our liking. we could here the burn outside flowing from our room.

Nothing loved everything. Fabulous overnight stay sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer.

A magnificent place. À lovely light airy room. A very friendly welcome, even though we were late arriving from our ferry from UK. We had interesting conversations after a perfect continental breakfast.

We would have preferred a double bed rather than two singles together. Hi

A lovely typical French breakfast with home made jams The breakfast room is a lovely setting overlooking the garden. The whole hotel was in a wonderful setting and Mark and Noela could not have been more welcoming.

Photos don’t capture the true beauty of this place or the sincere and friendly hospitality of the hosts. It’s a pity that, according to our travel plan, we could only stay for one night. Highly recommended.

Nice and relaxed location! Beautiful area. We went visiting all the D-Day memorials and this was the perfect for relax spot after a whole day of walks and museums visits. Owners are really nice and had some good tips! The house we had was really big and clean. Will for sure go back here in the future!
