We stayed unexpectedly having had a car crash and taken to hospital in the town. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful or empathetic. Thank you. Breakfast was good and good value. The adjacent pizzeria - part of the company - sells excellent gallettes. There were some low level maintenance issues around the place; loose sockets so all the ones in our (cheap) room didn't work, that kind of thing

Good breakfast, Perfect location, easy to find, with reasonably safe parking, right at the back of the hotel and with direct access door, using the code provided at reception. I was happily surprised there was a nice small indoor swimming pool, with comfortable lounger seats, each with a towel, very appreciated after travelling on a very hot day. There was also a largish terrace and comfortable seats indoors. The unusual type of evening meal formula was fairly good value.

Not also having a conventional restaurant and a wider choice of desserts. The hand basin was in the bedroom rather than separate, and no screen at the shower, but it was because the lack of space, as the room was very small

It's a nice, modern hotel and was pleasantly surprised for 2 star - just a stop-over night on way to Caen port for ferry home early the following morning (only an hr away so good location). The receptionist was super helpful and spoke excellent English. The pool wasn't open which was a bit disappointing and we stayed on bank holiday eve so everything was closed. Managed to find pizza/kebab takeaway after a bit of a trek. The double rooms are small so for a quick stopover OK, but wouldn't stay for more than one night. Overall a good stop over at a reasonable price.

The hotel is easy to find close to the railway station. There is some free parking available to the side of the hotel. The hosts are very friendly and speak good English. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, spacious and well appointed. The hotel does not have a restaurant but does offer “potted” meals. We chose to have a short wander around the town and then ate at the restaurant next door.

Very good location and availability of parking. The room was clean although a bit on the smaller side. The balcony was a nice addition. The breakfast offered a nice selection of everything. Staff was excellent - welcoming, positive and helpful!

Nothing to really complain about, except the shower that was open directly to bedroom. Not suitable for people who do not feel comfortable washing in front of others.

Easy location to find, parking for motorcycles. Good reception from the lady and young man who allowed us to book in early after a long bike ride. They couldn’t be more helpful.

Change of staff meant change of attitude. The gentleman who was on duty in the afternoon was more interested in chatting to ladies at the bar. The restaurant was closed.

Friendly staff.

A bit tricky to find. A general comment about Best Western communications. They send out a lot of unnecessary duplication of e-mails, confirming the booking. Also they use an affectation in the printing of the letters C and A, which is just irritating.

Good value for money - great location for our journey. Nice area - dog friendly and fabulous park nearby for walking the dog! And humans!

We were given an upgrade when we arrived. The staff were very welcoming and reserved a table for us at a nearby restaurant

There were very few pastries left at breakfast as a large group had decimated the buffet
