The property is really in a stunning location and the forest is glorious. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to cycle or go hiking through the forest, but it was still the perfect location for us - we were in the area for a 60th birthday event.

We do wish there had been a restaurant on site. There used to be one, but what happened to it? Additionally, we stayed in the King Suite / Doll's House and although it was adorable, there should be a fridge in there, as well as a teeny tiny kitchenette corner thing, especially as there is no food service on the property. There was also no bar. It was also during a heat wave, so AC could have been useful, and at the very least there should be insect screens on the windows to keep the bugs out.

Perfect location for the Haras du Pin where I was attending an event. The room was in a seperate gardener’s mews house. Sweet and comfortable. The main building looks great.

No dislike but regret yes. The absence of a restaurant - which is well and repeatedly flagged- is of course disappointing. A set time and set menu - with catered food being brought from a nearby restaurant - could perhaps be a solution worth trying out.

Delicious eggs, cheese, hams, fresh bread and croissant and any choice you would like The manor is beautiful and has a lovely park. Manager Pauline is wonderful very hospitable and responsible .This hotel is the only that is open on Sunday. For diner there are choices of delicious pate meat and fish, bread, butter, salad . Wine and cider can be ordered .The pavillion is a splendid hotel

This is a very unusual ex-Hunting Lodge. It is full of character. The facilities at the hotel were fine, including breakfast. The grounds are extensive & beautiful. The lady receptionist was delightful, friendly & very helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

Restaurant facilities in the evening would have been a real bonus.

Location, the house and grounds were amazing. So nice to see deer grazing on the lawn from the bedroom window. Staff were friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Swimming pool was great after a long day!

The lack of restaurant for an evening meal, meaning we had to go into the town and no cooked breakfast in the morning was disappointing.

It is a lovely oldish building and had an effortless charm to it. It is set in lovely grounds. I have become tired of driving into cities for a hotel and was looking for a hotel in the countryside and this ticked all the boxes. We will go back to explore the area and the hotel grounds. The bath was great too!

The front gate was a little temperamental.

Fabulous location for cycling. Quiet and peaceful forest surroundings. Host was warm and welcoming and also arranged evening restaurants for our cycling group.

Beautiful old French Manor House. Surrounded by well kept lawns and woods, great for a walk to stretch your legs after driving all day. Best stopover hotel we’ve found so far! Will stay again.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It was very quiet and the hotel was beautiful. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. It did have a lovely swimming pool and a sun lounging area however the pool may have not be used for a while as it needed a bit of checking as there were lots of flies in the water.

There was no restaurant at this hotel and as it was remote that would have been a nice option. However we did discover that the hotel has not long re-opened so once they get more guests coming through a restaurant facility would be possible.

Fantastic location in the countryside. Lots of stars to see as minimal light pollution.

Lights in room were 40watts so hard to read by in winter evenings
