I knew that I had rented a small apartment but it exceeded my expectations! It was actually very nice and complete and very well decorated. The manager of the hotel, Maarten, was very friendly and asked me to text me my arrival time in front, and he was waiting for me perfect in time to hand over the keys and explain everything. He also gave me a lot of information about the area and region and actually that gave me some ideas! The village is very close to the great Tour de France Alpes like Glandon, Galibier, Alpe d'Huez. And the village La Grave with cable car going the glacier at 3200m (Maarten's tip) was the best! I once had breakfast in the hotel, but the apartment was so nice that I decided to arrange my own breakfast the remaining days, while listening to the nice river next to the apartment. This vacation in the French Alpes was one of my best of the last years, certainly because of the very nice apartment from Hotel le Cassini! Thanks Maarten, I will certainly recommend your hotel and try to come again sometime.

Nothing to mention!

The owners are amazing nice and helpful. They did everything they can to make us feel home. The dinner was delicious ( see our pics) . The rooms were clean and worm. If we had any question or problem they took care of it immediately. We took 4 rooms for 7 days in the last week of December, all of our group said the same thing about the rooms, food and hospitality. We recommend this hotel very much!

It took us 15 min in a car to the ski area. The bus wasn’t friendly and didn’t came on time.

First and foremost, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and kind. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. The food was also delicious. Every night they did a three course meal that was exactly what we wanted after a hard day of cycling. If the weather was nice we sat out on their lovely terrace. The whole setting is incredibly pretty. They also have a sauna and hot tub which is a really nice addition. To store our bikes they had a separate secure garage which we could use that also had a tyre pump and other tools we could use. Our rooms were really comfortable. I slept really well every night. The hotel is right next to a river which was really peaceful every night. Because we were in France cycling, the hotel is perfectly located for some famous Tour de France stages. Alpe D’huez is just down the road and you have Col du Galibier in the other direction. The hotel is positioned so you can do each mountain in one day without exerting yourself. Again, the hotel had loads of cycling information so you could plan your routes properly. Finally, parking was really easy and we parked on the road the hotel was one which was really convenient (and free!).

There nothing I didn’t like. The only small problem (and it really is very small) was that the wifi was a bit hit or miss sometimes in our room.

The location was beautiful with fantastic views from the property. The apartment was well appointed and very stylish with its own patio/terrace. The apartment was self catering but we did have an evening meal in the hotel which was superb. The chef prepared a special meal for my husband who has a plant based diet. Sophia and Martin, the owners, were very helpful and friendly. There was also access to a sauna and jacuzzi which was next to the apartment in the same building. There was plenty of good parking for the car and a secure room to store our bike.

Nothing really

Maarten and Sophia are really helpful. We’re there for the ski trip during weekend and the public transportation doesn’t available to Auris during the time we’re there. Thanks to Maarten we managed to get the early taxi and still able to have early breakfast at the hotel. Thank you!

Excellent location outside the main towns, mountain views are gorgeous, friendly staff, good restaurant.

despite being a vegan friendly place, which is rare in that region unfortunately. Food was good but the breakfast really only had bread and jam for us, no plant based milk; so we had to do get our own for the next day. We ate 1 night a their restaurant, the dinner was good but too light for us after a cycling day.

everything is super great, just for the jacuzzi in the group, which they were and should have been cleaning, but no, I just couldn't use the jacuzzi because not cleaning. I wish to come again.

Sophia is the best host, she is so warm and makes you feel at home.

Breakfast could have more variety, but it was also good

Great place to stay. Excellent food, service and welcome from Sophia and Maarten. Very bike friendly and knowledgeable of local routes etc. Would definitely recommend!
