Room was spacious and very clean with great little touches provided. Nespresso coffee machine and a bottle of water were very welcome.

The internal soundproofing was excellent. Unfortunately the main road running alongside the front of the hotel has the typical French traffic of speeding motorcycles with modified exhausts. The hotel had thoughtfully provided earplugs which helped to reduce traffic noise but they also made my ears very sore. A room on the other side of the hotel facing the car parking would have been much quieter. Other than the traffic noise it was perfect. Unfortunately I was unable to try out the restaurant as it was closed for the Bank holiday weekend.

Very nicely done, spacious, modern. The food from the restaurant was very good. There was a nice terrace that we could have a drink at. They had really gone out of their way to make us feel at home in the room with dog bowls and baby bath & cot. The bathroom was lovely and we liked the separate loo. Breakfast was very relaxing and a good choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Not that we got to use it but popped our head into the gym which was again nicely done with towels / water, enough machines for a decent workout! Loved the hotel, it exceeded our expectations and we would come back for sure! Thank you

At first we were a little concerned with security around the car park but the reception explained there is a night warden who watches over the cars - it’s also good that we could see our car from the bedroom (there is a nice fence so it’s not an exact view of a car park)

We had one of the larger rooms, so space wasn't an issue. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice shower, big soft towels and nice toiletries. Really close to the Louvre gallery, and walking distance to the RC Lens football ground. When the bar/restaurant was open, there was a lovely area to have a drink. Free parking behind the hotel was good too.

We went to watch a football match, so wanted to have a drink in the bar before the game, but the staff at Reception told us the bar was closed...specifically because the match was on. (The bar had been open at the same time the previous day.) The hotel is approx. 30 minute walk from town, so there were very limited alternatives to have a drink before the match. We also ate in the hotel one evening. The menu was shown in both French and English (on separate pages) and all prices were in euros. But the French menu showed a higher price than the English menu for the same meal, and we were charged the higher price. So please double-check before ordering.

I liked the traditional style and the fact it was based on old miners cottages. I also like the pillows and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the convenient parking and the terrace for dinner. The restaurant was lovely. I liked the breakfast table. Everything was comfortable. The shower was perfect and the basin too. The toiletries were plentiful and easy to use.

The air conditioning seemed slightly difficult to control but that was all

- The business superior room was comfortable and dog friendly friendly. This is the first time I've come across rooms with feeding bowls for dogs. - The bathroom was clean and had a shower. The toilet was separate to the bathroom which seems to be a theme for modern hotels. - The in-house restaurant was great and had a good manu for dinner. - Evening staff and restaurant colleagues are excellent and very helpful. - Large sit-down area to have a drink in the sunshine.

- The superior business room was smaller than expected due to cupboards and table placements. - The approach to parking is through narrow one way roads through a new build so expect some diversions while building work is ongoing.

We stopped here because we were visiting Louvre-Lens and the hotel was very convenient. There was free car parking reserved for the hotel in a street behind the hotel. Very easy to get to from reception. Room and bathroom were excellent with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a buffet style and had a wide selection.

We were on a ground floor room facing the main road between the hotel and the Louvre. It was slightly lower than street level and needed the curtains drawn to prevent passers-by seeing in.

Delightful hotel with lovely staff. Right by the Louvre in Lens, this modern hotel is in converted terraced houses that were once homes for miners. The whole hotel is elegantly presented and decorated - dark colours beautifully lit - and includes an excellent restaurant with delicious food, beautifully presented. Very dog friendly hotel.

The beautifully appointed 'cosy' room was too small. There was little space to even open a case. Suggest you book one of the other sized rooms. It was very surprising that such a modern hotel had no EV charging point.

This was our second stay at this hotel.We chose it because of the convenient location ( only an hour's drive from Calais)and that it has an excellent restaurant. The rooms are beautifully appointed with spacious bathrooms, coffee makers and plenty of power points. The staff greeted us with courtesy and were very efficient and the off road parking was convenient .Highly recommend this hotel

We could not fault the hotel

The rooms, the staff and the restaurant were all excellent. The food and service were great, the staff could not have done more to ensure a comfortable, pleasant stay for me, my parents and my dog. They were simply there, happy to help and always with a 'can do' approach. We were tired after driving all day and the experience at the hotel was just what we needed to recharge! Highly recommend!

The hotel had a very boutique, luxurious feel. Our room was clean and the pillows and bed were very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was of a high standard, beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. It was nice to be welcomed with a glass of champagne! Would highly recommend.
