What a lovely hotel beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds with high end bed sheets. We travelled with our two dogs and were allocated a room on the ground floor because of this with a little terrace and there were two clean dog beds in the room ... how lovely and such a nice touch. I have never stayed in any hotel which has done this. The food in the restaurant is absolutely superb - really compensated for our eight hour drive through France. The staff are superb and the service is faultless

A minor quibble was that the front door is activated by movement apparently but we couldn't get in without being let in .... not a major problem at all but given that the hotel is faultless on every other level it may be something that they want to address. Also there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which would have been nice.

Good overnight stay to break a long journey. our room was very large with modern décor but was lacking somewhat in character and amenities Car parking was a great plus being secure within the grounds The evening meals were excellent. A rib-eye cooked French bleu arrived exactly as ordered and sole prepared at the table very much appreciated. 10/10 for us. However .. ..breakfast was a little below expectations at the price charged. Overall it was a good overnight stay en-route to/from Calais but overpriced for this purpose

Superb stopover hotel with a very friendly welcome. I had forgotten to book a table in the restaurant (which was full) so Loic arranged for a table in the bar with our dog which was very comfy. Our room was large with a door onto a lawned area with access to the car park, great for taking the dog directly out. Our dog had a bed provided too. The room was very comfortable and clean with a good shower. Supper was gourmet level - we had the set menu for 33 euros each which didn't disappoint, 3 excellent courses (choices for starter and main) with some delicious wine. Obviously a very popular place with the locals as both the restaurant and bar were full on a rainy Tuesday in January. The table service was exemplary. Breakfast was a simple cold buffet but very adequate for our needs. It was the perfect last night to our 2 month trip, only an hour from Le Shuttle/Eurotunnel at Calais. Highly recommended. It would be nice/convenient to have a kettle in the room (although I was given a pot of hot water on request) The breakfast coffee is in a thermos (and was luke warm). We think it deserves a good coffee machine of some sort to suit the quality of the other food offerings.

Very calm, quiet place, beautiful and cozy inside and outside, excellent parking. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant, very high quality. Everything was delicious. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and it was truly an unforgettable holiday.

there could be more accommodation options. Our family of 5 people (my husband and I, two daughters and son-in-law) had to live in three double rooms, not a very economical option. And I would also like to be able to drink tea in the room; there were not always enough seats in the very beautiful lobby, especially for our group of five people.

We stayed for one night on route back to the UK. What a lovely, small hotel! Plenty of parking in it's carpark too. There was a local wedding party mid flow when we arrived a few minutes before official check-in time but, despite the staff being quite busy, we were greeted and checked in with efficiency and friendliness by the young lady on reception. She even showed us to our room, pointing out the restaurant and breakfast room along the way. The happy wedding party was lovely to witness from the comfortable lounge area with a welcome cold drink from the small bar. Our room was very quiet and comfortable with a small patio with chairs and a table to chill in the Sun for a little while before dinner. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and the twin bathroom basins were a nice touch. The restaurant was quiet (a Sunday evening) with only a handful of guests. The room was light and comfortable. We had a fantastic meal with wonderful wine. Really, this is food that we struggle to find in the UK and was quite unexpected. The profiterole was the best I've ever had I think and we're still talking about the veal a week later! We decided to have coffee in the lounge and (unprompted) the waiter brought us delicious freshly cooked madeleines to have with it. He brought them from the kitchen, holding the baking mould with a tea towel fresh from the oven - wow! A highly recommended hotel that we'd stay at again without question.

I genuinely can't think of anything that we didn't like or that didn't meet or exceed our expectations.

The quality of the restaurant food was excellent.

Our room in the attic was cold and I had to get into bed to warm up. Communication with the 5 members of staff we met was not always easy. They were not English speaking and didn’t understand when we spoke in English. Of the 15 hotels we have stayed in on this trip this was the only one where we had this difficulty and we do speak some French. They like to speak very fast. Another first was that we were charged for the room when Booking.com had already taken payment 5 days before. When they were challenged we were told that there was no payment so I had to show them the confirmation on my phone at which point a telephone call confirmed the payment.

Ground floors have door access to garden patio. Room size very good. Only 5 km from motorway.

Shower over bath access over high bath when wet. Both bath and tiled floor very slippery when wet. No grab handle to help access and egress bath.

The hotel was easy to find and is a beautiful building with a large carpark and a few green areas for our dog. We asked and received a ground floor room which was perfect as we had a door to a little garden beyond. The room itself was smart, spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was dark and quiet to give a good nights rest. Staff were professional in appearance and seemed to enjoy their work. Dinner was lovely accompanied by an excellent St Emilion. Breakfast was varied and good to see meat, cheese and eggs available. We loved the classy dining room. Will we return? Certainly.

Plenty of parking. Very clean rooms if not a little utilitarian. Efficient check-in and no bother to change the time of our dinner reservation to an earlier sitting. Delicious meal in the restaurant, a little pricey but beautifully cooked. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and varied with a selection of breads, cheese, cold meats, fruit and yoghurt. Check-out isn't until mid-day.

There wasn't any coffee/tea making facility in the room which would have been nice last thing at night and to start the day with. We did notice, as we made our way to breakfast, cups and tea set out on the reception desk, presumably to help yourself to? We hadn't been told this was available and even if we had, we wouldn't have wanted to nip down in the morning in our pjs for a cuppa! It's the little things that make a trip memorable and you wanting to return. We hadn't realised, our fault probably, that breakfast wasn't included in the cost of the room. The overall cost of the room for 1 night, meal for 2 including a bottle of wine and a couple of beers and breakfast for 2 came to €318.50.
