Very good location and friendly staff. We paid for breakfast on one of the mornings but we were there at the end of the breakfast period and they made some extra pastries for us to have them warm, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was generous, overlooking the train station. It was a bit cold inside, but they provided us with an electrical heater and that helped.

The Hotel is clean and well located for onward travels to Calais for the Ferry. We booked the family room which was plenty big enough for a family of 4 (with kids @ 15 & 17), and was great value for money. The lady who checked us in was really helpful. There is a free carpark 200yds up the road where our car was fine left overnight.

A good place for a night's stopover. The lady at reception - in fact, the only member of staff we saw during the entire time we were there - was bright and helpful, and the room was about what we'd expected, globally clean with a very comfortable bed. The room was not too noisy despite being opposite the railway station, although it was a bit warm after the evening's sun. There was a tower fan, though, which was quiet enough to be left on all night. THe breakfast was a Continental buffet, and they had made an effort of satisfy British guests as there were little plates of sausage, beans and bacon which you could microwave. That sort of worked, and it was certainly more than we had expected. Otherwise, there was plenty of choice of cold food, fruit and so forth. And yes, I think I'd stay there again as it's only about 10 minutes easy walk from Bethune's main square, which is where you need to visit.

Two things; firstly, they rather hide the fact that the hotel does not offer private parking. You can leave your car in a free public car-park a hundred yards or so down the road, but that isn't frightfully reassuring if the car is visibly loaded to bursting point with luggage. There is CCTV in the car park - we actually parked directly below the camera - and the area is quiet at night, but we weren't that happy about it. The second thing is that we found two used towels on the back of the bathromm door, which the maid had clearly failed to notice when she did the bathroom. That apart, though, the place was perfectly clean.

Room was huge, bed was very comforable and the biggest I have ever seen! Big bathroom too and the TV like a cinema. Felt like a Borrower. Staff were super kind and stayed late to facilitate a late arrival after long drive with small children. Location is good

Room was next to the pavement, converted from shop or other purpose, so spacious, but with a little outside noise. Nothing much or that bothered us

Very convenient, dog-friendly (without smelling like a dog hotel!) and really friendly and helpful management. Extremely comfortable beds and a great bathroom. A quadruple room - hard to find and great value.

It was hot - but then again, it wasn't supposed to be that temperature in that part of France!

Pillow was a bit thick for me but that is just personal preference. Some parking instructions would add to a great hotel, wasn't sure where to park

Loved our stay. Pretty unusual and eccentric decoration. Very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Breakfast was nothing special.

Very easy as we arrived late. Room smelt of chips maybe from the restaurant downstairs but for a family room it was really well laid out with a double bed and a screen door between this and 2 single beds. Bathroom was a good size and clean and shower was very good. Hair dryer included. We managed to park close by. Would definitely recommend

We love Cit'Hotel in Béthune. It's great as a staging post for our drive to the south of France each time we come off the Eurotunnel at Calais. There's a great buffet breakfast to choose from and the rooms are individual (themed), spacious, super clean with great ensure bathrooms. Will go again.

room was fine, clean and with a good shower/bathroom. breakfast was exceptionally good, fresh bread and croissants from the local bakery and freshly squeezed orange juice.

fact that there’s only staff from 15:00 ‘til 22:00 and at breakfast. was difficult to check in because of that.
