It was my birthday trip, we got a really nice room with amazing view. The room was really big and spacious, modern design and furniture. Also I really appreciate the huge terrace with mountains panorama! The hotel is quite new and its really nice for the price. Thanks for almond milk in breakfast! really not common in France One more thing is the direct slope access, it is very convenient. All facilities like restaurants and Carefour are very close by walking. SPA area is not so big but very cozy and again the view is just outstanding. Merci beaucoup

It was a little cold in the room, the thermostat maximum was 22 degrees to which we were not used. Its not a minus, but if you take SKI in intersport it is possible that you will not get a ski locker within hotel, we had to ask for one. If you take ski from the hotel I guess issue will not occur.

After reading the first reviews, we were a bit skeptical for our stay. But we had a good stay and it looks like the hotel management took the received feedback and improved their services: - the hotel is new and you can notice this everywhere (in the good way); - rooms are spacious and nicely designed (we had a room for 3 persons, 1 double bed and 1 single bed); - sleeping conditions are excellent; - common area (reception) is nicely designed and generous as space; - swimming pool and sauna area is very nice and welcoming; is kept clean and in excellent conditions; - breakfast is decent, you get a bit of everything; the only complain here is that there is no vegetable for breakfast. I have already gave this feedback to the management and they took it very positively; - the hotel is an excellent position for skiing; as the other reviewers mentioned, it is a ski-in/ ski-out hotel, which saves times and makes a great ski experience; - as a hotel guest, you have a free locker-room, heated, for your ski equipment, which is excellent; - staff was always very polite and very helpful; staff in the restaurant, at breakfast, is amazing. They work around the clock and are never rude, despite the volume of work they have; - around 8-9 a.m., restaurant can be crowded - but, as mentioned, the staff is doing in excellent job in re-filling the plates and cleaning the restaurant As mentioned, the hotel is new - and like all new businesses, there are small things to be improved. But nothing that makes the stay unpleasant or ruins your vacation. We enjoyed our stay.

great room, comfortable beds, very good location (ski in/out) for those who know how to ski, service is great, the staff is very nice, breakfast is really good.

ski beginners need to take the bus to the ski school / main area, WIFI didn't work at all in our room, after a few days of complaining the staff offered us to switch a room

This hotel was excellent! I don’t know what all the people were complaining about, probably critical French. The facility was so nice with easy access to slopes and town, and a beautiful pool and sauna. The breakfast had tons of options and everything was fresh and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Some items were missing upon our arrival like bath towels.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay in Higalik. The rooms were comfortable with nice beds and bathrooms. Bottles water and coffee was provided, along with a safe and hairdryer and dressing gowns/slippers. The breakfast was perfect for our needs - quite a busy place between 8 and 8.30 as this is prime time before skiing but they never ran out of things and there was lots of basic choice - fruit, yoghurts, cheeses and meats, pastries, eggs etc and lots of juice choices. We had hired skis from inter sport which is right next door and accessible without even leaving the hotel building so it was so convenient. The boot room there was huge and empty, and a lift took us up one floor to ski right out of the hotel. Some days we simply crossed the road and got one of the regular shuttle buses to Croisette or beyond to Bruyeres depending on where we wanted to ski. At the end of the day, it was possible to grab a hot chocolate or cake at the hotel, drinks and free snacks (olives, popcorn) before dinner. We ate in Telemark a couple of times which was good food (except the carrot soup!). We did also venture into Les menuires. It is an 8 min easy walk to Croisette area which is very ugly but there are a few eateries there (Belleville for pizza was perfectly fine) and we had a wonderful meal at l’étoile des menuires which had alpine charm and fantastic food. We did also use the spa in the hotel - it was very busy but my teenage daughter and friend didn’t mind!

There was something about it that lacked a bit of atmosphere but this could be fixed easily. There is a lounge area by reception- the separate room could be so much more cosy and welcoming with some interior design thought rather than feeling a bit corporate. Kettles and tea and mini fridges in the room would be good. Yes it is out of the centre but the end of town where Higalik is has some prettier chalet style buildings and the ski in access was great. It would be good if they opened a pizzeria or similar either in the hotel or at this end of town as I think it would do brilliantly!

Good size hotel and it was lovely to have a spa. The beds were fairly comfortable, and you can rent skis and snowboards, as well as lockers for them just by the hotel. It's also nice and quiet so youll get a good night sleep. There's a bus that takes you to the ski area every 20 mins just outside. There was a good breakfast selection as well. Good ambiance in the lobby seating.

For a 4-star hotel, not all in reception acted as such. The housekeeping also only left us drinks for 3 people when we were 4 in our room, repeatedly. The shower did not have a fitting for the shower head above, so washing your hair had to be done with one hand, and water could come everywhere due to lack of curtain or the sorts. If you're staying above floor 5, as we did, there's a hassle of getting a new lift to get up and down, with quite a lot of waiting. The spa itself was often without towels available, and there could have been a water fountain or the sort available. The restaurant onsite was okay.

We had a wonderful stay at Higalik. We experienced no negative things mentioned in some of the reviews: the staff was very friendly and accommodating, our family room was spacious, with a door between the two sleeping spaces, the bathroom came with two sinks, a bathtub and a shower, a separate toilet, all tastefully decorated, there was also a terrace. The room was cleaned every day, the cleaning staff was very kind. The hotel is ski in, right next to a blue slope. We rented the equipment at Intersport which is linked to the hotel via a covered terrace. The lockers are in the same building, next to the slope. We were very satisfied with the half board. The dinner consisted of an appetiser, main dish and a dessert. Every single dish that we tasted during our one week stay was delicious. The staff in the restaurant were just lovely - very efficient and professional. The choice at breakfast was plentiful too. The pool and the two saunas were a nice extra.

There was nothing to complain about. The only nuisance were some other guests who never turned off the showers in the pool area (despite clear signs that water should be turned off) and who were leaving their kids screaming in the pool even past kids’ allotted slots.

A huge thanks to Hotel Higalik, which has made our stay a blessing with their great staff & services and as well a perfect ski location (ski in / ski out) with easy access by ski to all 5 ski domains...for our first vacation here, we could cover only 3 domains in 5 days. The hotel is new and conveniently located at the entrance to Les Menuires ski domaine. The pool/ sauna/ hamam area with a view on the mountains is a blessing after a ski day. We had the half-board option and the restaurant offered enough options for 5 dinners - with a tasty menu a la carte and as well a menu of day. Three are as well several restaurants at walking distance around. Good breakfast as well with several salty options as well as patisserie, pancakes and fruits. We parked our car in the hotel garage and did not move it for the entire vacation (we could not believe that for 5 days we did not put our feet on any public transport or car) . There is a blue slope right at the edge of the hotel with a direct connection to the Bettex. Indeed the blue slope might be difficult for beginners (as most of blue slopes on Les Trois Vallées), however there is as well the alternative of the free bus in front of the hotels ....so something for everyone 😉. We would definitely come back at Higalik Hotel for our next ski vacation.

Nothing to not like. It is a correct 4 stars hotel. The hotel is open since 2 years, so there could be small things to improve here and there....nevertheless, there is nothing to shadow the fair 4 stars facility.

Lovely room, nice size, 1 bdrm with balcony. Was right on the slopes. Great ski in/out. The steam room was amazing. The unit was impeccably clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We really liked the included breakfast, with so many options. Lovely and quiet, too. The free shuttle bus was great, with pickup and drop off just across the road.

No wifi in our room for the whole week (despite asking 4 times for it to be fixed). The pool was too cold for winter time as it was only luke warm. No laundry facilities.

Everything new, very clean, spacious rooms, breakfast was ok, pool is nice, ski in ski out if enough snow, friendly staff, very good (warm) skilocker, diner choices were delicious

Breakfast was ok but not good enough for 4 star hotel. Half board choices decreased because we were here the week before winter closure.
