There is nothing not to like about this beautiful small hotel in the prettiest of villages. The couple who own and run both he hotel and restaurant are just gorgeous, the wife is the warmest and friendliest person we met in France! the room we had was at the top (no lift) and had shutters that opened from both the bedroom and the bathroom onto the village and the stream that runs through the town. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was perfection with a bath tub where you could throw the windows open (make sure no one can see you!) and listen to the sounds while bathing with the beautiful L’occtiane products supplied. if you stay here (and you really should!) then book for dinner as well as it was so delicious and beautifully presented, served in the peaceful courtyard. Don’t worry about doing any more research, I looked at everywhere and this is the place you want to stay! oh and do I mention a beautiful breakfast is included?!

loved it all

The hotel is in a beautiful old building that has been thoughtfully renovated. The room was beautifully decorated with a great view. Bathroom was nice as well. Breakfast in the morning was good but standard continental fair. Coffee was good.

There is no parking nearby as it is in the historic center and there is no lift so pack accordingly. We stayed on a Sunday night and I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed. Per the information on the website and other sources it had said the restaurant was open Wednesday - Sunday and we had planned to eat at the restaurant. We found somewhere else to eat and it was fine. But I had looked forward to sitting at the bar by the river which was also closed. I also asked for restaurant recommendations but never received them.

This is a wonderful hotel with a top-notch restaurant run by a wife and husband team. I didn’t catch the wife’s name but her casual and welcoming demeanor was great. We opted for breakfast each morning which offered coffee, orange juice, boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt, ham, bread, croissants and preserves. The rooms were nicely appointed, the beds were comfortable and the pillows plentiful. One evening we opted for the €75 per person tasting menu which we found to be great value. We ate at Pierre Gagnier in Paris last year and paid five times that amount for very comparable food. The chef (husband) knows his profession well. The hotel is a quick and easy walk from the free city car park suggested by the hotel.

There was nothing we found lacking.

The breakfast was very good. Room was clean and had a nice view of the water below.

Parking is a challenge, and you have to park in an outdoor public lot. It took quite a while to find an available space on a Sunday, due to the market. Then you have to roll your suitcase to the hotel (about 2-3 blocks). There is no elevator, but they helped bring up my suitcase. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but is something to consider.

Second day of a cycling trip. We showed up with a tandem and they were super accommodating. Place is beautiful - we went in April but I imagine it would be stunning in the summer when you could eat outside . Very helpful staff. Clean room. Great location. Definitely have dinner at the restaurant. One of the best meals we’ve had anywhere. Super creative. Loved it.

Lovely, ‘shabby chic’ decor. Excellent position close to the centre of town. Delicious breakfast with yogurt, fresh fruit, cheese, ham, eggs, home-made preserves and freshly-baked croissants. Very friendly owner and staff.

A lot of stairs. If you are at all elderly it would be worth asking for a room on the 1st floor, although the owner very kindly offered to help us with our luggage. No light directly above the mirror in the bathroom so very difficult for shaving or make-up.

The hotel was typically Provencal, beautifully appointed. We had a lovely bedroom & bathroom & separate walk-in wardrobe, so plenty of room. Very good breakfast. We did not dine at the hotel but at their other restaurant Cafe Fleurs which was very good. Athough there is no parking at the hotel, the 150yds or so to the carpark was perfectly fine, plus it was free. There was always a place for us.

No negative comments.

The property itself is absolutely stunning. Every single corner has been well thought and well decorated! It’s stepping into a dream of wellness and tranquility. But Host… makes it all even grater! The attention to our stay and comfort was indeed a priority! Lost probably one of our best stays ever!!

Nothing at all. Everything was perfect

Beautiful renovation of hotel in an historic building next to the river. Very convenient for walking to all the sights of town. Friendly and hospitable management and a very good breakfast with lots of choices. Radiant heating in floors kept the room comfortable.

Our room was intermittently noisy during the night due to a squeaky hinge on the entrance gate in the courtyard.

This is a stunning property nestled in the heart of the town. The photos don’t do it justice. It is in the perfect location. The hosts/owners are LOVELY and so kind. Breakfast was delicious. Truly great value for your money. One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at!
