We arrived very late (23:30) due to a long day of travel, and Georgi kept us updated of where to park/how to get to our room. It was very helpful and reassuring as we would be arriving so late/in the dark. The B&B is very quiet and nestled in a residential area. It was very beautiful and the rooms were lovely with many cute/cosy decorations! Also two small cups of hard pretzel/bread nibbles were left out in our room which was a very sweet gesture! Breakfast was fabulous, as to be expected in France, and there were plenty of options. Very lovely stop off as we travelled!

Staff was very friendly, inviting, check in was easy and they let us pick our room from the ones available which was a nice touch. Room was quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and everyone was very friendly and helpful with directions, parking instructions, etc.

The cleanliness of the room was not as expected. The room was dusty and had spider webs in the room in all the corners, and they were repelling from the ceiling actively making webs around the room. The mattress on the bed in the room wasn't comfortable, and a couple of soft pillows would have made the stay much more peasant. The room size was also very small next to other locations within the same price range, so that was also unexpected.

We were on the road and had this B&B as a stop-over and it was ideal for this. Especially Georgi (I think he’s the owner) was a great help. Watch out, there is a notice that you cannot bring a camper/trailer and you really cant. We did but Georgi really went out of his way to help us fix it anyhow. We were with 3 young children and the garden was excellent for them to play after the long (long long) journey. We’ll be returning on our next trip to the south of France. Thanks Georgi!!!

The warm and cold water taps in the bathroom were reversed. My engineering-heart is weeping but hey, further this place was amazeballs!

Nice quiet place. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast was good and service was attentive and friendly. The accommodation is very convenient to very good bus and metro service to Lyon Centre. The hosts were friendly and helpful. When we arrived Georgi greeted us and provided us with all information about the house..We had booked a standard room but he very kindly upgraded us to a superior room at no extra cost. Recommended for a visit to Lyon.

Friendly host.. clean spacious room and bathroom.. fyi no elevator/lift.. breakfast okay, standard continental... host recommended a restaurant on bank of Saone river for evening meal.. twenty minute walk but worth it.. also get a 10% discount if you mention you're staying at Lyon Amour.

I was just staying for a night on my way up north so it was perfectly fine for me... it's a bit far from Lyon downtown.. you would really need to drive or use a taxi

We used this as a stop over for 1 night on our way south. Great location with secure parking. Owner was very helpful and recommended a local restaurant right on the river front, where we had great food and wine at great value. Breakfast was basic but perfectly acceptable.

Walls are very thin - not all room are en-suite so you hear people using facilities during the night.

We came as a group of friends and we all collectively liked the location.and the B and B! ( it was close to a bus stop and a store. as well as a charming restaurant down by the river . It was not in central Lyon , however it is easy to get to by bus and metro . It is in a great neighborhood.. easy and safe to walk around ! The staff is exceptional ! The owner is so helpful and kind ! And interesting to talk to ! We will tell people to stay here !

Everything was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay. I will unequivocally refer people I know to this place. It was the best choice I have made for awhile. I am pleased to have been able to have that experience.

This only inconvenience was the parking. It was to small not enough space, but again it’s ok as I was looking for a place to stay not a huge parking. As I said, just an inconvenience.

The rooms were very clean. They were equipped very nicely. The location was just a short drive from the town centre. The aircon worked very well in the rooms. The receptionist on the day of departure was really nice and helpful.

The driveway is narrow, awkward to turn into, and if all the rooms have been filled, a little tight on room in the parking area. Although he seemed fine with me, the owner's manner annoyed my wife, who felt it was brusque, and not exactly welcoming. I think he was concerned with the parking and making sure he had enough room, but yes, it left a slight sense of something. In the room we stayed, the beams are low and I was bent over double most of the time I was in the room in case I hit my head. The breakfast was pleasant enough, but not plentiful. One had to wait for stuff to be brought out or replenished.

Peaceful but still near the city, beautiful garden, charming property, clean room, air conditioning, private parking available, tasty breakfast included, responsive and friendly staff. Small grocery store less than 1 minute walking distance.

Nothing worth of mention. Small nitpick: bathroom didn’t have much aeration (no fan) but this is a very common issue in Europe / older buildings.
