Beautiful location

Unfortunately it was very busy and two of our group waited over 2 hours in the restaurant to be served dinner. After asking several times they left without receiving their meals. I queried and they then said they would send to their room, but as it had been sitting out for a long time (as it was left to one side as staff couldn’t figure out who ordered) & they may have been ready to reheat I declined. Request an iron early morning and was told all out, asked again at lunch time again not available, I would have thought that contacting Whoever had an iron if they had finished with it would have been a reasonable request but staff would not do so!

We enjoy coming back to this hotel, its environment immediately gets me in a holiday mood. My daughter enjoyed going for a ride on horseback through the forest. Even if you are not staying in the main "castle", you can have a drink there in the bar. We had a great buffet dinner with live music at the Brasserie

The room was quite warm, even if it was freezing outside and the temperature control didn't change anything. The wifi is a bit flaky, good enough for some youtube and email, but it would not be suitable for doing remote work.

This hotel is beautifully situated with grounds, pool, forest and a chateau. The breakfasts were very good. Paris was very hot so it was nice to be in the cooler countryside for our stay in France.

Many of the rooms had no working AC. We were given a fan but it was hard to get a good nights sleep. Also only water was offered other than meal times. It would have been nice to have healthy drinks and snacks available.

The location is great. It is 60 minutes from Paris by car but transformative. It really felt like being in the countryside. The hotel is set in a larger Domaine which hosts a number of activities. There is pool, tennis court, stables, horses, bikes and a petanque court and forest trail to name a few. The hotel also has board games and activities for kids. We came for a wedding,. The ceremony was in their large flower filled meadow in the shadow of an enormous tree. Just gorgeous. Afterwards we had cocktails on a terrace before heading into one of the little halls for dinner and dancing. We were very happy and well fed with the food. The staff was attentive in both the reception and restaurant. In the evenings they burned firewood on the terrace to keep warm. It felt nice to talk around the grounds and smell the smoky air, feeling like we were truly in the countryside.

Nice countryside hotel. We stayed for one night during our road trip. It was the perfect place to rest and for the kids to play. The restaurant was in the chateau and we had a lovely dinner. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The room was nice and the staff very friendly. Parking right in front of the building.

The welcome message we received before arriving said the indoor pool was opened until 9pm. After a full day of driving, we promised the kids to take them to the pool but when we checked-in at 6pm, we were informed that the pool closed at 6:30pm. Conflicting information. Other than that, we had a great time in this hotel.

If you need to.explore Paris but have energetic children.need space between this is the place for.you.. We were there during olimpics and the pool was a real plus during the heat . Kids.loved the poney ride too. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

Ideally, you want a car to eat outside the hotel. The only restaurant is overpriced and has a restricted menu specially for.children. Rooms are also small, but we were out most of the day, so it was fine for us.

Beautiful hotel and great location for those seeking somewhere outside Paris.

The hotel lacked facilities and basic services. The entire place had only one iron, and the staff expected us to come down to the reception whenever we needed anything. There was no gym either. I wondered if I was staying in a hotel or an Airbnb due to the lack of basic services.

Amazing property in the nature with horses and swimmingpool. Very relaxing place.

It is not easy to understand where the reception is located. No signage and if there is no staff than it is not clear where you need to go.

We loved the rural location of the hotel and the setting. The staff were excellent and always available to assist. Our room was quiet and had a lovely view at the rear of the hotel. The breakfast provided lots of choice, though the scrambled eggs were cold! We didn't go hungry! We would definitely visit again.

The scrambled eggs were cold, but didn't spoil our breakfast experience. The tap in our bathroom had a weak flow! We didn't like leaving!

the reception staff ordered a taxi for us which was overpriced significantly 90 euros for a 20 euro ride… left us in a difficult situation with the driver who blamed the hotel for booking him and said they knew of the price. the hotel said he took advantage of us as we were English and wouldn’t get in touch with the company that booked on our behalf. we saw the same driver back at the hotel the next morning so they are evidently aware of his over charging. it is very dishonest and we will be complaining to Novotel head office and the hotel manager. it is a shame as we loved our stay there. this ruined the whole evening out.
