All staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English, saving my blushes at very poor French! The food was great value and simply excellent quality. The bed was HUGE and extremely comfortable and the remote controlled exterior window blinds blacked out the room and kept the sometimes busy road noise nearby out, as well as the sun on how days

Not a dislike, just an observation. It's an older style hotel and that's reflected in the decor, which is a bit tired in places. But clean and functional nevertheless

Lovely picturesque location next to the river only 5 minutes walk from city centre. Small car park but ideal for motorbikes. Very comfortable beds with en-suite tv and even a coffee machine in the rooms. Nice breakfast with friendly helpful staff. Indoor swimming pool.

I had to stay because of the road conditions there for one night. There was only one other occupied, but the general manager was available even at midnight when I had some trouble with the A/C-heater combination. The windows had shutters and were Sound-Proof.

It was easy to find and park. It was clean and we slept very well.

We weren’t aware that the pool/spa facilities were closed and under construction. We were very disappointed. Apparently it was on their website but I was never informed through booking.

The size of the room was so small we could not open our suitcase other place than on the bed (not very hygienic). Roof of the bathroom was not correct.

The bikes were stored in a locked garage.

Standard of room was poor. Looked well used with lots of chips off the paintwork in the halls and the bedroom doors and furniture. A general run down feel about the whole place. The bathroom was very small and there was a smell from the drains. Only one member of staff running reception, bar, room service. Restaurant closed.

Nothing really. Staff very pleasant. Whole property looked very run down and shabby. Dirty fake grass littered with broken garden furniture
