This is great place for a stop over, basic but priced accordingly. There is a large all you can eat buffet nearby within walking distance which is ideal for evening meals and drinks.

Bright and clean very helpful gentleman checked us in. Good location near the motorway .. easy to find.

Could have done with some hangers in room!! Also a small table or shelf to place things on.. Just had to put stuff on the floor..?!

Arrived late at night tired and irritable from journey and heat (we had just driven 500k+) The young girl behind reception was excellent. She was friendly informative had good English and was extremely pleasant.

Bathroom unit could have been cleaner, very basic but for the price acceptable for an overnight stay. Carpet in room, not practical and looked very grubby.

The carpet in the corridor to the rooms was badly stained and needs replacing. The room itself was adequate, bed reasonably comfy but the self contained plastic bathroom dropped into the corner of the room needs a serious refresh. The shower frame was rotting and mildewed and the toilet needed serious attention. For the price this is quite common in this type of hotel - but it doesn't need to be.

These modern French cheap hotels are all very similar and cluster round transport hubs. This is one of the better examples with a convenient location just off the A6 and 15 minutes drive from the centre of Auxerre, a pretty town with a good collection of restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly and a good continental breakfast was included.

We use the Cerise quite often on our way to our boat and it is always very good in all aspects we require.

A plug for the sink would be nice but there never is so we bring one. We can understand that sink plugs do cause a problem.
