The chateau was beautiful with its views over its lake . Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well designed and the shower was fantastic, just a little wait for the hot water but that was explained to us. Breakfast was served in front of the window looking over the lake with lit candles and beautiful plates and cups. Sandra is a great host and was happy to talk to us about the chateau and its history. A great stay.

Proprietors were superbly helpful to settle us in to their Chateau with a kind welcome drink to enjoy in the grounds and to the area assisting with a restaurant reservation at short notice. The Chateau is stunning and the room was very comfortable. All the required amenities. Excellent continental breakfast to top it all off.

Very friendly owner, magical location, some parts of the castle are nearly 900 year old, terrific breakfast. The chateau is also close to other great destinations (Puy Du Fou, the great little medieval town of Clisson). Highly recommended!

Absolutely exceptional. The property is wonderful, bedroom, huge and luxurious, with coffee machine, the bathroom is in the turret and the biggest bathroom I have ever been in - all with with views over the moat. Breakfast is served in the guest dining/sitting room. Its all about the detail and it was the little things such as putting the weather forecast on the boiled egg that we loved. Fantastic, helpful and friendly owners who go over and above to make your stay magical. Such a privilege to be able to stay in this historic property. Highly Recommended

We loved everything about our stay here. It really is an exceptional property full of history and in a beautiful location. Sondra was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome.

Breakfast was excellent. Such cute presentation and a lovely spot to eat. The chateau was also really lovely and the moat was really cool.

Sandra was so welcoming from the moment we arrived, making us feel at home after a long stressful journey. The whole castle is spotless and clean and we couldn’t recommend it enough.
