Very good central hotel. Clean and comfortable. No balconies but there is a terrace. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very close to the main town of Nantes for sightseeing and shopping (Bus 4 a cross the road). Lots of buses and trams available and walking is ok. Shower was good pressure. Air-conditioning is a bonus. Lots of wardrobe and hanging space. You need your key card to use the stairs and lifts so it's very safe. There is a bakery next door and a supermarket up the road so very convenient. Shopping centre also very close. Les Machines de l'Île is only 5 stops on the 5 bus and the stop is very close. Main town is very close on Bus 4 across the road. Spa is a shower, steam room, and jacuzzi, there is no treatments. My husband and I booked for 11pm on our last night and had the place to ourselves. It's definitely worth booking for a last night treat.

Unfortunately, the TVs are not smart tvs and are not hooked up to wifi as we tried to set up our chromecast to watch a movie, but it didn't work. The phone in our room (205) also didn't work. Nothing to do with the hotel but be aware that on Sundays EVERYTHING is closed or closed by 1pm...and I mean EVERYTHING!!! Pharmacies, shops, cafes. Restaurants generally shut at 2pm and reopen at 7pm for dinner every day, but on Sundays a lot don't open at all until 7pm.

Lovely, bilingual staff always on reception, great varied and plentiful breakfast and clean, modern hotel.Good value at £150 a night B&B with taxes and parking in August we thought! The breakfast was very varied and replenished regularly. Fruit, juice, tea, coffee, pastries (very nice and so many different ones!) many breads. Cooked meat and potatoes but beware french have scrambled eggs cold if you are English and expect them warm!! Boil your own eggs were great though. Emailed hotel a week before to reserve parking space for €13 a night. Just parked on street outside to check in (20mins free) and given room key to swipe to enter secure garage by right of reception and a numbered parking space to use for our stay. It was easy 30 mins walk from hotel to Les machine de I'lle and AMAZING restaurant on way back (Rebublique côte jardin) booked online ahead and just delicious food at such a reasonable price (€32 two courses or €40 for 3 which only my daughter managed as parents too full!). Main old town Nantes is 25 min walk from hotel and is beautiful. A lovely loop to the Bautanical gardens, Chateau (free to walk around lots of it), Bastilique saint Nicolas and La palace Royale. Lunch at La Vespar cafe half way! Didn't try the spa.

Our original room was not quite ready, but staff were great as we were early so 30mins before check in anyway! We were then put on 1st floor right by the lift which was a bit noisy and had an external gate used by local residents that banged throughout the day on use. We didn't ask to move, they may well have moved us but didn't realise how annoying it was until we were settled in the evening as our all day anyway! Shame smart TV didn't connect to WiFi but our laptop streamed Netflix just fine on free WiFi.

Such a nice crew both at the front desk and at the breakfast - Speaking of breakfast: the food was great, and they had good variety - Great location: calm, neat, clean, it has green parks all around, a supermarket around the corner and is very well communicated - Good and clean facilities - Spacious rooms with a lot of natural light and all the convenient things/amenities - Water fountain to refill your bottle, that’s very convenient - Front desk staff know and love their city. Ask them for tips and tricks!

Nothing to complain about, I’d just suggest: For the rooms with kitchen, adding kitchen paper or kitchen towels (it’s kinda inconvenient without them); and 1 or 2 sharp, all-purpose kitchen knives and/or a pair of kitchen scissors: the knives available in the room aren’t good for food cutting/opening stubborn packages when needed. (Probably it’s done on purpose for safety reasons though.)

Location: in our 80's, we pulled our wheelies from the depot easily, or you can catch a bus to the intersection where the hotel is. Around the corner are a boulangerie and an Intermarche, while just a few blocks away there's a huge shopping center with an immense Carrefour. Nantes' fine bus and tram system will get you where you want. Hotel is modern, efficient, comfortable and quiet. Our room was bland but pleasant. It had outlets, charging ports and lights as needed. The kitchenette behind double doors in the hall was adequate for simple tasks: cooling, heating, cleanup. Plentiful hot water. In place of disposable plastic water bottle, they supply a glass bottle you take to the main floor to refill with tempered, cold or sparkling water. Nice! Bathroom compact .

Slippery shower floor needs a mat.

After hoping hotels and B&Bs for 2 weeks we were very happily surprised by the size of our apartment. It was great to have space for all our luggages and still free space. We much appreciated also the possibility to do our laundry in the common washing machines against a small fee. It was not clear they had this on the Booking description. Also appreciated the daily cleaning, garage, 24h front desk. The bed was very comfortable. Very close to bus stops that takes you directly to the Les Machines d'Ile and also across the river to the city centre. And the experience was even more enhanced by the fact that Nantes offers free public transportation on weekends. All in all a perfect stay.

Just the location is rather residential so not so many restaurants around. Not a big deal and happy to trade that for more space at a better price. There's a boulangerie and supermarket next door though.

Although is well located, if you are looking for proximity to historic center, it is about 15-20’ walking distance. The property is nice, however it could have updates and a more modern look in the rooms.

This hotel was very well located. Not in the center but easy enough to walk to. Staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Our room had little kitchen and separated living room. Breakfast was delicious. Leila was incredible nice, gentle and well educated, spoke fluent 3 languages. She recommended us an amazing restautant.

Good access to the city center, just walking distance. There is a shopping center close by but there aren’t any restaurants around the hotel because of an office area. The room was ok. Good to have a kitchenette but some utiles weren’t clean. There was a hair left on the bed linen which made me wonder if it had been changed from the former guest’s use.

The hotel and room was very clean. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was within walking distance to the city centre ( 20-25 minutes), you can also take the tram , which is just near it if you prefer not to walk. We stayed in a room for 4 adults, with a king size bed and a double sofa for my children. The room had a kitchenette with all necessary appliances( dishwasher, cooker, microwave…). Note that if you are staying in Nantes between 14/07 and 15/08, you can park free in the street near the hotel, as it is in the yellow zone.

Breakfast was adequate, choice of pastries, cheese, cereal, toast/jams, yogurt and some hot food mainly sausages & egg. The breakfast would benefit from having more choice of hot food as this was lacking on choice.

The shower went from hot to cold, this needs looking into as it was quite uncomfortable whilst taking a shower.
