The hotel has a great location and offers flexible check-in (we arrived during the night). The staff is very friendly and also speaks English. Even the small details in the hotel are thoughtfully planned – there’s a clean drinking water dispenser on the floor, and the rooms are equipped with a great hairdryer and quality toiletries. Everything works well, and the hotel feels cozy and charming. A special mention goes to the excellent breakfast at an incredibly reasonable price. Definitely the best experience of our entire trip. The current rating doesn’t do it justice – this hotel deserves more. Highly recommended!

- Free parking - Good location, relatively short walk to centre of town - Easy for family of four to stay in one room with sofa bed

- Room wasn’t ready by check in time - Eggs at breakfast tasted a bit strange - Due to location on edge of city centre there is nothing open on Sunday. This is not the hotels fault but just for noting to other guests that not even the local carrefour city shop is open on Sunday - property is a little dated but the price reflects this. Exterior is quite grubby and needs a clean up

- location on the Ile de Nantes was good, right next to the river, a tram station and a couple of restaurants, bars nearby. The centre was a leisurely 15 minutes walk away - Although there's currently some construction ongoing, we didn't feel disturbed in any way. Also breakfast seemed to be operating as normal - rooms clean and tidy - friendly staff supporting in case of any needs

- Construction is ongoing for a reason, I guess. The hotel overall seems in need of some renovation

We had a fantastic stay at Novotel Nantes. The room was spotless and very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s interior was modern and beautifully designed. While the location isn’t right in the center, Nantes is a compact city, so getting around was easy—either a short tram ride or a pleasant walk. Overall, a great experience.

Room was a good size, bed was comfortable, there were enough clean towels for us all. Overall it was good for a one nights stay. I also really liked the fact that once I had checked out, I was allowed to stay on the premises for a few more hours to work. That was highly appreciated. PS: The background music was great too!

Amount of choice of tea in the room, no water in the fridge, one had to leave the room to get water which was a little inconvenient.

Comfortable room and adaptability from the staff.

Restaurant was shut for three days over the weekend, which caught us by surprise. The only place the closure was posted was a notice in the lift, which we missed. As we wee traveling off season there were no decent restaurants within walking distance. So we had to subsist on snacks from the local Carrefour.

A pretty good location with parking beneath the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast. The room was just spacious enough to do some yoga in the morning.

Although it looked out over the Loire, that side of the river had almost nothing to offer in terms of good restaurants with the exception of the wonderful restaurant Vatel which was very close by.

The hotel was more than my expection, most comfortable room I have ever had in hotels with family, thank you. We enjoyed our stay .

The hotel parking is payable which is strange, so where do you expect guest to park? Parkings in hotels are supposed to be free as we pay staying there.

Friendly staff, Car parking costs 15 Euro per day, good breakfast. Location near the City (20 Minutes to walk)

It was not marked that the amount for the room was already paid over booking.com and the refund for the additional Payment is complicated.

This was a great place to stay. We were also able to bring our pet dog. The bed was enormous. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The facilities were very good. We had a very comfortable stay as we had travelled up from Spain and were going to Cherbourg and we really needed a rest. I would highly recommend this hotel. The breakfast was exquisite too.

I sincerely couldn't fault it in any way. It was a great hotel for the price we paid.
