1: staff - every interaction was positive 2: next to train station with access to all connections one could need 3: ac worked well in the heat wave 4: room is very clean and comfortable

1: dirty rugs in the public spaces (lobby, breakfast room) - gives bad impression of the hotel. 2: breakfast / restaurant - multiple issues: things (food and utensils) run out on the breakfast buffet. A few staff members (doing their best) trying manage both the outside (non hotel) and inside (hotel guests). Had to constantly ask for items that should have been available - milk, coffee, eggs, plates, water, cutlery (people resort to self help and take from empty place settings), etc.

The location as a link between the train and the Airport bus was perfect. Also the location beside the canal and via the station, access to the Chateau, the botanic gardens and via tram, or walking, access to the city centre. I was given a lovely room, providing views of the canal area, with a large comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The decor was eclectic modern and fresh, utilising interesting colours and patterns. The reception staff were delightful, especially Sophia, who patiently answered all my questions and solved any problems. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the room and an excellent dinner in the restaurant. I sincerely look forward to a return visit to Nantes and this hotel!

The staff in this hotel is delightful from the lovely lady with the Spanish accent at the front desk who checked us in early and arranged a taxi for us to the poor barman being run ragged looking after a full patio on his own when we had an unexpectedly warm day with sunshine. He still had a smile for us and gave us his full attention when he served us. The room was comfortable with a very large bathroom, a work area and books on shelves and by the bedside. The most important thing, the bed was extremely comfortable. On weekends, there is the same menu for both lunch and dinner. While the menu is not large, we were both able to find something that appealed to us but be warned, the portions are huge.

I booked this hotel because the web site said there was a shuttle to the airport. While there is a shuttle and it stops just outside the hotel, it is a city bus that goes between the airport and downtown. There is no one to help with the luggage which as very mature travellers we need, so for our departure, we opted for a taxi instead which the hotel arranged for us.

On top of a very warm welcome and some great local information on arrival at the hotel it was very convieniently located next to the train station, bus and tram lines. Easy to move around the city from here. The building itself was stylish and comfortable with a fussball table in the foyer to keep the kids entertained while checking in. Lunch in the hotel restaurant was super, tasty and local. Books were everywhere and added to the ambience. Our kids loved the room and the style of the hotel.

Proximity to the station (next door). The room was extremely large and well appointed with comfortable seating area with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge plus a huge ensuite shower room, also suitable for disabled guests. Complementary toiletries and bath robes, hair dryer. Quality hotel with various reception rooms for business or pleasure. The staff are most welcoming and helpful providing individual attention.

Reception staff was super welcoming! Any person we encountered behind the counter were helpful and kind. Breakfast was quite nice, especially the possibility to make our own eggs. I'd prefer not having carpet on the floor, but this seems very rare in French hotels. There were some issues with the express checkout, and it took a few emails and a phone call to resolve them, but in the end, it worked.

Did not know or like having a deposit blocked out on my Visa card , have never known this before in any hotel , feels like your distrusted from the start, i had already paid for the stay so was lucky I had a Visa card on me otherwise I don’t know what would have happened but I didn’t like it at all

Staff are lovely and welcoming. The restaurant was great too. Quiet room and the hotel location worked out good for accessing the old town.

Found it a little odd having a glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom. While showering your partner can see you! The bathroom door isn't a full door so all noises within are heard throughout lol

Blackout curtains were excellent. Location was great - within easy walking distance of the old town. Desk in the room, with power points on the side - very convenient. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good.

Check-in seemed to operating on a shoe-string, using a mobile phone and a notebook - more like a B&B than a top rated hotel. The second morning at breakfast things were a bit stressed - plates ran out, along with bacon, even though the dining room was not packed.
