The staff in this hotel is delightful from the lovely lady with the Spanish accent at the front desk who checked us in early and arranged a taxi for us to the poor barman being run ragged looking after a full patio on his own when we had an unexpectedly warm day with sunshine. He still had a smile for us and gave us his full attention when he served us. The room was comfortable with a very large bathroom, a work area and books on shelves and by the bedside. The most important thing, the bed was extremely comfortable. On weekends, there is the same menu for both lunch and dinner. While the menu is not large, we were both able to find something that appealed to us but be warned, the portions are huge.

I booked this hotel because the web site said there was a shuttle to the airport. While there is a shuttle and it stops just outside the hotel, it is a city bus that goes between the airport and downtown. There is no one to help with the luggage which as very mature travellers we need, so for our departure, we opted for a taxi instead which the hotel arranged for us.

Did not know or like having a deposit blocked out on my Visa card , have never known this before in any hotel , feels like your distrusted from the start, i had already paid for the stay so was lucky I had a Visa card on me otherwise I don’t know what would have happened but I didn’t like it at all

Staff are lovely and welcoming. The restaurant was great too. Quiet room and the hotel location worked out good for accessing the old town.

Found it a little odd having a glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom. While showering your partner can see you! The bathroom door isn't a full door so all noises within are heard throughout lol

Blackout curtains were excellent. Location was great - within easy walking distance of the old town. Desk in the room, with power points on the side - very convenient. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good.

Check-in seemed to operating on a shoe-string, using a mobile phone and a notebook - more like a B&B than a top rated hotel. The second morning at breakfast things were a bit stressed - plates ran out, along with bacon, even though the dining room was not packed.

The hotel style, flavoured water each morning at reception, Nuxe Bathroom products, staff filled our water bottles multiple times for us, Bathroom was lovely. Shower was so nice - great pressure! Decor. Size of room, good bed, location, lighting, tv display.

Our air con was really bad and in this heatwave we were too hot with 5 people in one room. bathroom sink was dirty and didn’t drain as there was money stuck in the plug hole. The bedroom carpet had lots of stains. No bin in bedroom. Breakfast was too expensive to justify. There was a parking fee of €12/day

-Location is great. Near the train station, it’d be handy if you are traveling to/from Nantes by train. But it’s not too far to go to city center. 5 mins drive and approx 20 mins walking. - We actually booked triple room, but when we came in to the room, the room was still in mess and hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. so i went down and reported it to the front desk and we got upgraded to the family room which has spacious space, comfy beds, has nespresso coffee machine and few pods are there.

The amenities in the room are great, the only thing missing is Iron. you know most hotels have iron in their room. but not a major thing.

Limited tea/coffee in room and no milk which english like. Having my unfinished coffe cleared away when I was at the buffet at breakfast then not receiving another. Having to provide a large deposit on arrival. Need a hook to hang wet coats in room.

The location is the best part, just next to the train station, walking distance to the castle and city center- which you can see the view by walking 15mins and you can enjoy your dinner with your friends.

The room is small than I thought. the bathroom is quite small as well. For big customers it is hard to squeeze in.

The location is brilliant and had everything we needed. From the friendly welcome from Mousta (who was fabulous) to the farewell from Nicolas (who was also fabulous) we couldn’t fault anything!
