The location is very convenient for visiting the city centre and main attractions. Staff could speak good English (quite rare in Nantes, for some reason this city ignores the internationally widely spoken languages) and were nice and diligent to our needs. The room was fine and the non-climatization was not a problem as it was well-insulated. Good practices regarding sustainability.

The room didn't smell quite right, it wasn't too strong to the point we had to complain but there might be something off with the plumbing... The breakfast room was too small and crowded and often we had to wait to access the food. There was variety but not good quality. The bread was good.

I really liked the hotel, it's very beautiful. The receptionists were really nice, and I loved that Jules Verne's books inspired the hotel. Everything was perfectly clean, the rooms are comfortable and the shower it's amazing. I recommend everybody to stay here. It's like a four stars hotel.

The breakfast is a little expensive, they do not really have that many food to make you pay 14 euros. Also, It is a bit far from the centre and train station, it's like 20 minutes walking and if you are carrying a backpack is going to be really exhausting. Still you can take the tramway so it's only a problem if you are planning to walk. They could put water bottles in the rooms because I do not like to drink from the bathroom.

Reception staff were really helpful. the location is perfect for exploring Nantes city centre. The bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. We liked having a kettle to make tea and coffee. There is a great facility beside reception where you can make a coffee or help yourself to water and some soft drinks free of charge. It is a nice place to sit and relax or work on your lap top.

I would prefer a small fridge in the room to keep some cold drinks but knew this was the case before we went so can't really complain. The balcony is a Juliet so not the type you can sit out on or even stand on.

Positive: Clean hotel, lovely and friendly staff. Helped us with storing our luggage as we arrived early and gave us umbrella as it was raining bad. Rooms were very modern. Lobby area was nice with chargers and refreshment drinks. Breakfast was good very tasty and everything was fresh. Good location however uphill. Central to most sites. Negative: Location wasn’t too good for getting uber/bolt - had to wait a while. 3pm check in is very late for the price of 1 night.

The family suite was great allowing our teens to have their own beds and space. The suite was roomy and had 2 bathrooms, plus it felt very new and the beds were comfortable. The Jules Vernes theme throughout the property was tasteful and fun. The location was perfect for walking around Nantes.

We had a car and you do need to find parking off-site but the hotel staff gave us many recommendations. We were on the top floor and the elevator doesn't go all the way so we had to carry our bags for 1 floor. Not a big deal, but something to know.

The hotel is very well located, next to a lovely square and close to the river. Complimentary drinks (coffee, tea) are offered. It is nice you can fill in your own 'carafe' with plain or sparkling water and take to your room.

I expected a larger and more comfortable lobby area for a Best Western Hotel. The rooms have carpets which does not feel very hygienic. My room had a strange smell when I entered but then I opened the windows and it was OK. I would have liked the bed linen to smell fresher.

The staff here are absolutely charming - professional, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet and have a fun Jules Verne theme. The breakfast is generous and refilled constantly. We were there during Pour L'Amour du Fil and spent a few hours downtime in the hotel's bright lounge area where we sat and stitched and the receptionist brought us in coffee (offered - did not even have to be asked for - that is how great the team is). We've already booked for next year for the week.

The room was very clean, decent size, easy access, the location was excellent, in the middle of tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants. We did not have breakfast at this hotel and there is no parking on the premises. However, the underground public parking is very close and easily accessible.

Our room was situated above a restaurant, however, even though there was some noise from the street, at night it did not bother late hours.

Lovely little hotel in a quiet location close to the centre ville & all it had to offer. The staff were it's key asset. Probably the nicest & most helpful we have ever experienced. It made us feel very valued & welcome.

Not much. Slight small rooms but adequate & super clean. A bottle of water left in the room would be a nice touch on arrival & also to make coffee or tea. It was overall very nice.

Great location to explore this beautiful city - public transport is free on a Saturday and Sunday. Room was comfortable, bed nice and adequate bathroom. Staff were all helpful and welcoming.

Minor points - tv not working or easy to work - but not needed by us. Breakfast can get a tad busy in a small space.
