Everything! Beautiful property! An old abbey reappointed as luxury retreat a bit off the beaten track, very comfortable room, spacious, automatic lights, very tasteful combining the very modern with the rustic old, very nice restaurant with a Michelin mentioned appeal, beautiful breakfast, a little jewel found by sheer accident.

Not concerning myself personally, but I am not sure if the hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms, the suite we had was on the first floor, with pony steps, no lift, but there could be indeed rooms on the ground floor. Lovely pool bar and very classy bars and restaurants. Those have wheelchair access.

The staff are exceptionally charming, friendly and helpful. From the moment we walked in , we felt special. The bar and public areas are superb, the food is delicious and the bed is the best we’ve slept in. A really great place. The bedrooms are really well laid out with fabulous views. The bathrooms and shower are of the highest quality, honestly wish I could have stayed a week. We chose it because it is just 15 mins to Nantes airport.

Honestly I just can’t fault it. It maybe doesn’t have the huge gardens of some hotels in this region but its proximity to Nantes and its excellent landscaping makes it feel a very special and luxurious place

This hotel is a dream! The view when you arrive is breathtaking (the majestic driveway, the garden and the tiny pond) and also inside everything perfect. We loved the way the room felt like it was a Loire castle; the luxurious fabric on the walls (in the same style as the curtains), the high ceilings with beams, the big windows. And yet it felt like everything was new and clean. Also, the service at the reception, in the restaurant and at the bar was sublime. This is definately the best hotel i ever went to. We will absolutely come back.

Wow factor when you arrive. Beautiful building. Both historic and wonderfully contemporary modernised into a hotel. Love the high ceilings and the stone. As someone who is allergic to pets it was super allergenic. The staff and service was exceptional. Excellent meal in the evening. Super convenient location for Nantes and an overnight stay.

The location is both a strength and a weakness. Super convenient for travel and well set back from the road. Not easy to go for a walk from.

A wonderful property with class. The design of the bar and restaurant is lovely. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Great place to visit and only 15 mins from the airport but set in the country so quiet.

I am tall and the top floor has low , sloping ceilings but it’s a minor point for such a lovey building.

A beautiful property stunningly renovated. Restaurant was fantastic and one of the best steaks I have eaten in years. The whole experience was relaxing and staff were really friendly and helpful.

Nothing negative to report. The property is somewhat isolated but that adds to the relaxing experience.

The building is wonderful, superb rooms with great bathrooms. Very luxurious place to stay. we had the 6 course tasting menu in the main restaurant which was fantastic. Great food and wine, the staff were fun too. Not too stuffy. The pool was good, as was the outside space.

one small grumble……I felt it was pretty ridiculous to charge extra for eggs at breakfast! Our one night stay cost €650 with dinner so it seemed a bit petty to charge extra for what was a pretty simple breakfast. Other than that it’s superb

Friendly and helpful welcome, lovely room and very hotel.

Pillows were really too hard, and uncomfortable in every way. For the level of luxury everywhere else the pillows were not luxurious. A simple fix, but key for a good night's sleep.

Creaking floorboards mean that inconsiderate guests in the room above that want to get up at 4am disturb you. Otherwise we had a beautiful room in 107.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. I have not experienced service as exceptional as this in years and all the staff which work at the hotel are a credit. We had dinner in the brasserie and the sommelier was brilliant. Wished we were staying longer.

Nothing it was wonderful.
