The hotel is nothing special, similar to most hotel in this range. Room was clean spacious, small clothing hanging area, great shower, TV (only French station) so bring your tablet if want to watch English TV. WiFi was fine for what I needed. The breakfast was my kind of breakfast, fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheeses, cold meats, French breads, pastries, coffee, (tea available too), scrambled eggs and bacon. Gave me enough calories to walk around exploring the city (the Nantes Pass was well used) until around 3 pm not good time to get hungry restaurants shut down and open around 7 pm. There is a bar and the restaurant serves a buffet style evening meal. Did not eat there so can't comment on the good served. The location is some distance from the city centre if on foot, but the busses run every few minutes in front of the hotel up until around 23:00 then every half hour I read on one of the signs. The bus stop in either direction is a few metres from the hotel entrance. The two young ladies who did the evening shift during my stay were friendly, helpful and made my stay a very pleasant one.

This more a highlight of a couple of minor things that were not right. The hair dryer in the room bit dated and did not work and the door lock did not automatically lock on the outside and had to reactivate the lock with the card to get the door to close - some of the joys you face when in a well used hotel. It certainly did not distract me from having a great time in Nantes.

The hotel underground car park is limited if driving a large vehicle but we travelled by motorcycle so was excellent and secure. All facilities were clean and the restaurant seemed popular, with a small outside terrace if required. We didn't eat there but the food did look good, next time! The bus stopped outside, within 10 minutes we were in the city centre (Excellent public transport - UK could learn something), easy to use and free all over the weekends. The staff were excellent, they were of great assistance when my wife became very ill, helping with getting medical aid and extending our stay in our room to avoid her having to relocate. Our reservation included two rooms. One room experienced non-functional lighting in two fixtures and a malfunctioning air conditioning unit that initiated operation unexpectedly, resulting in a consistently cold environment throughout the night. The second room also had a malfunctioning air conditioning unit that initiated operation unexpectedly, leading to a cold environment overnight. Additionally, the shower lacked a door, causing steam and water to escape into the bathroom.

Location excellent, bus outside the hotel brings you to city centre every 10 mins.. Area was very safe, rooms quiet at night even beside busy road. Beds very comfy!! Air-conditioning too..

Hotel had very limited food options..bar closed at 11pm, asked for cocktails @10.15pm was told cannot get them as they take a lot of time to make them.. disappointing as it was my friends birthday. Lovely TV but no English channel's

The ground floor room we were given smelled bad when we first entered. Later we noticed that the sink in the toilet was dirty. When we turned on the tap we saw that the sink was clogged. They changed our room but first they came to the room and tried to unclog it with a sink-opening chemical. Our first expectation would be for the hotel to offer to change our room to us.

The room was extremely cozy and very comfortable. The air conditioning was strong and not noisy at all, and the windows completely blocked out any noise from outside. There were also blackout curtains, so we were able to get an amazing night’s sleep. We arrived very tired, so it was amazing to have so much comfort. We even paid for late checkout to sleep more before flying home.

The shower box was very dirty — thankfully, we always bring flip-flops to use when showering. Even the shower glass was covered in grime.

Booked into this hotel for a 2 day visit to Nantes. Chosen for its location and previous satisfaction with Campanile. Parking was good. Reception staff were very helpful. The room was a little small but adequate for our needs. Breakfast choice was good. Ate in the hotel both nights food and choice was good. The bus stop was virtually on our doorstep and a supermarket just up the road. Bought a Nantes pass in the hotel good for transport and access to venues.

Room size is compact. Only nuisance was the rain dripping onto the kitchen ventilation duct outside our window.

Easy to locate. Tram service right outside, into the City- free at weekends. Room Very clean and bright. Beds comfortable.

Sorry to say I was not impressed with the evening meal in the restaurant. Husband had a pizza, which was very good. However, my fish with ‘spicy sauce’ with potatoes and ratatouille,seemed to have been pre prepared for reheating if and when ordered. The sauce wasn’t spicy and the potatoes and ratatouille were dry and unappetising. Very disappointing.

The receptionist was very, very helpful , and friendly. The room was ready on arrival and very clean with every we needed. The beds where comfortable. The hotel was situated in a good position just off the Nante ringroad and had loads of amenities close by. The bus no 38 that goes to the airport is situated 6 mins away and is under 2€.

The overall looks of the hotel, the fact that it is new. The location of the hotel suited our needs perfectly and it is comfortably reachable from both the airport and the train station. It is really close to the town center as well so it is a plus too, yet the district is quiet and the noise insulation of the room is pretty good too. The room was also perfectly clean so I was really satisfied with that. Actually I often chose Campanille in places where I travel to because of the ideal value to price ratio.

The Mattress was to our taste a little too soft so our backs were hurting a little the next day. Also there was no real way to raise the temperature or to turn of the AC which was definitely not set at the indicated 23 degrees, which resulted in us being a bit cold throughout the night. The AC was really harsh. But I guess it is great for heatwaves (which were happening during our stay) and overall I appreciated that there was AC.
