I loved having the opportunity stay in this beautiful chateau. We were only there one night, but the recommendations for nearby restaurants hit the spot. The room was very quiet and comfortable. An interesting host who speaks excellent English was happy to chat to us over breakfast and made sure we were well supplied with food and coffee.

Signposting to the parking at the back of the accommodation could have been better. Or alternatively if we'd had instructions on our booking to direct us to the car park this would have helped. We arrived in the rain and the dark when reception had already closed and parked in the main car park at the front. We only saw the parking right at the back of our room the following morning. This was a minor point, but I do like to keep the car very close when travelling for security reasons.

Château de la Galissonniere was a super place to visit for our three days stay. It was easy to find, close to the local railway station for our trip to Nantes and also to drive to pretty local towns like Clissont. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a pleasant courtyard where we could relax. Breakfast was great too. Our host Camille was extremely hospitable. He was generous with his time to help us with information about restaurants and local places of interest. He booked us a wine tasting with his uncle Pierre Eve which was great. We were able to purchase some excellent wines from the vineyard. We would highly recommend this venue.

Only one little thing comes to mind. Mosquito netting at the window would have been helpful for ventilation in the evenings.

A gorgeous property and the castle is beautiful Location was great The staff were excellent and extremely welcoming and helpful The breakfast was also very good !

The only thing I would recommend is an air conditioner or large fans in the rooms for the summer months as it can get a little warm when sleeping

Hosts were personable and attentive and made you feel so welcome. Breakfast was above and beyond expectations , with a never ending selection of fresh local fair and strong French coffee. Accommodation was clean and spacious, with a lovely comfortable Bed Location was picturesque in a lovely historic and quiet location. Don't forget to buy the very tasty Muscadet produced on the premises

The B&B is located in the top muscadet area and restaurants in clisson - the guest gave much useful explanations and does what is possible - very silent rural place
