Thank you so much Lily & David for the most amazing stay! From the moment we arrived the hosts are very welcoming and hospitable. The accommodation is spacious, spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool and comfortable beds. We stayed here for a wedding and Lily and David went above and beyond, picking us up from the station and taking us to the wedding which was so lovely. The breakfast was a real highlight with a large variety of options including; pastries, yoghurt, cereals, meats and cheese!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

A very comfortable stay with great attention to detail to ensure guests have everything they need - endless supply of tea and coffee, board games, even a hot water bottle, though not needed in the warm, beautifully furnished bedroom. Fantastic breakfast with really good coffee and a great choice of pastries, French bread and cheeses and cereals. Lily and David went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home and are really excellent hosts. We will be back!

The surroundings are not spectacular, but the house is comfortable and the garden charming. it's a pity that we couldn't try the pool and wash off the dust from the roads due to the weather. Even with our late arrival, the pleasant hostess arranged a reservation for us in a restaurant in the neighboring village, and in the morning we were greeted with a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended to anyone passing through the area.

the wooden floor squeaks underfoot and you felt like you were disturbing your neighbors, but that was a minor blemish on an otherwise beautiful picture

The location is perfect if you are driving up from Spain. A beautiful, quiet place, lovely room, and a great swimming pool (which was perfect after a long drive). Lily and David were super nice, and the breakfast was great. If I am driving this way again, I will definitely stop here for the night.

Nothing.

Lily and David are very welcoming hosts who instantly put their guests at ease with a smile and kind words. (In English.) Every need was met; every enquiry prompted thoughtful and helpful responses. Lily’s recommendations on where to shop and eat led us to dine at a small restaurant a short distance away where the food and wine were superb and the service was excellent. Our evening at Bucket’s auberge was one of the best we’ve had during our current trip to France. A real discovery thanks to our insightful hosts. Our room was large and comfortable; very clean and well maintained. Despite being on a major road, the property was quiet and free from traffic noise. Plenty of on-site parking made loading and unloading the car a breeze.

Our hire car was equipped with the latest in GPS navigation but failed to direct us correctly to the property. After several passes thru the near vicinity we turned on our phone and Google Maps led us to the door in an instant. This slight glitch was not the fault of the owners but seems a fairly common guest experience… and one that is easily resolved. Have your phone close at hand or download screen shots and directions from Google Maps before you travel.

Lily welcomed us very kindly and you can feel she has a heart to accomodate a B&B and pay attention to her guests. We had a nice room with good beds and a nice large bathroom. We could use the fridge in the veranda and had a lovely time in the beautiful large garden with swimming pool. Breakfast had everything we could wish for, good coffee included. Enough space to park the car. Would definitely like to stay here again!

I couldn't think of anything

This is a lovely place to stay. A friendly welcome from Lily and David set the tone of our stay. The room was spacious with a beautiful en-suite and all spotlessly clean. The pool was lovely and a great place to cool off at the end of the day. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with fresh croissants and bread, fresh fruit including figs from the garden and meat , cheese jam etc. Lily and David have thought of everything, kettle with tea making stuff in the room , including a cafetière and proper coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and cool bottles of water. Lily contacted us in advance and arranged dinner reservations at some lovely restaurants and a tour of a local chateau with wine tasting. They are superb hosts and I cannot fault the place at all, we will definitely return if we are in the area.

The breakfast was good. We can use the whole accommodation with BBQ, dishes, microwave, pool equipment, garden, tea & coffee bar, WiFi, television. We had a great home base to discover the area around St Emilion and enjoy our quality time with family.

Is appartement is next to the national road, but with less trafic at night.
