If you enjoy... welcoming hosts, lively conversation, very tasty home-cooking, a charming old country home with lots of character, interesting artworks, animals (multiple and various!), non-manicured gardens with whispering bamboos and yodelling green tree frogs ... then Le Peyrail awaits you! It's a unique and enjoyable experience which I recommend and will definitely repeat, but if the above DOESN'T appeal, a generic hotel chain might just suit better...

I didn't like leaving!

Exceptional location on a hillside overlooking vineyards. Wonderful staff. I arrived much later than I thought I would, could not plan on dinner ahead of time, but she offered me dinner anyway. We had a great chat while they served me some local wine and a lovely plate of fish and chips. Room was great. Bed was comfy. The night was both dark and quiet. It was a great place to reset my Jetlag and get on with my journey!

Breakfast was good with a nice choice of things to eat. The location was ideal for my visits to Saint Emilion and Bergarac. I also opted to have meals in the evenings and they were all lovely and interesting.

Unfortunately, the pool was being cleaned and repaired, so was not available for the short time I was there.

Lovely Breakfast, Jo and Stan were perfect hosts and the evening meal was very good and value for money. The swimming pool was great and the pool terrace was very relaxing.

This place was amazing Jo and Stan are brilliant, we didn't want to leave, such a beautiful house and gardens, we will be back, heaven on earth.

Both Jo & Stan were so welcoming and accommodating, we joined them for drinks, they provided a great breakfast and provided really useful information on the area.

Could have been slightly cleaner but they have a wonderful range of animals so it does make sense that it wasn't although both made efforts to keep it clean and organized as best they could

Really quirky, rustic chic. Overlooking lovely gardens. Lots of lovely artwork - like staying in someone’s home - made to feel very welcome in a very chilled atmosphere.

Breakfasts delicious. Location charming like the hosts! We could relax there.

The stay was too short.

This is a charming, quiet place with a lovely host. I immediately felt at home. I was there only for one night as I was going to a wedding nearby. I could easily have stayed for a couple more days just to enjoy the place!

The hosts are amazing, the property is Dream like place in a beautiful nature setting

Nothing is there to not be liked😉
