Manu is a wonderful host. He is warm, friendly and welcoming. And a bit quirky in a good way. The house is great and the room spacious and clean. The bathroom looked quite new and was also very spacious. Manu spoke a little bit of English and also a bit German, together with our limited French, we had great conversations.

Breakfast was good, with yummy pancakes and local honey, but I missed a fresh baguette and some savoury choices. Sainte-Foy-La-Grande isn't the most inviting of towns in late September. It looked a bit depressing and there was limited choice of restaurants. It was either takeaway pizza or oriental semi-takeaway (with very nice owners by the way).

It was a pleasure to stay in the owners delightful home. The host was a perfect gentleman and we had some interesting conversation too. He also supplied the perfect breakfast, some of the baking was his own as were the delicious selections of conserves. The perfect host, thank you

We loved it, didn't want to leave, the house is gorgeous so beautifully furnished. The room was spotless and with a big beautiful bathroom. The bed was super comfy. We watched the England match in our room, shame about the loss, followed by fireworks in the stunning garden for Bastille day. Emmanuelle is lovely, his English is really good and we are definitely going back 😁

Manu was a lovely and attentive host and the breakfast he provided was the best one of our whole trip! Our en-suite room was very comfortable and clean and stylishly decorated. Was nice to be able to see the inside of a traditional 1920's french house typical of this area.

I had a perfect stay here. The host, Manu, is so welcoming and gracious. The house is lovely and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit salad, yogurt from a local farm, a variety of breads and homemade jams, plus a pain au chocolat!

Absolutely charming house with an amazing host who prepared super tasty breakfast. The room was adorable, super clean, very comfy, including the bed. The house is two minutes from the river where I went for a great morning run. The Wifi is strong so that doing some work via laptop was also no issue at all.

Manu, the owner and host, is just an interesting and wonderful person. He is gracious, funny, a great story teller, and helped us find a great restaurant. The house is an antique store, hence the fact Manu was once a dealer.

The host was very welcoming & very helpful, even phoning to book a table at a restaurant for us. Breakfast was great, including freshly squeezed orange juice, home made fruit salad & pancake. It was a lovely old authentic French house, full of antiquities. Very comfortable bed. Walking distance to town but very quiet. Parking on site.

Owner/host is a delight and extremely accommodating. The house is full of wonderful art and knick-knacks. Bed was comfortable and bathroom modernized.

Room could have a chair as there is no place to sit.

Very French. Manny was a very convivial and accommodating host. Just sorry we only stayed for 3 nights.
