We loved this hotel and would definitely return. Most Paris hotels in old buildings have tiny rooms. Since we were staying a week we wanted more space and Clef du Louvre was perfect for this. The decor throughout the hotel is lovely. Located about 3 minutes from the Louvre, the neighborhood is cultural but bustling with great shopping, restaurants and sights. The rooms are soundproofed very well.

-The website said the rooms had bidets but there wasn’t one. -the website said there was a concierge but the people at the desk weren’t very knowledgeable about restaurants or even how to get tickets to see Notre Dame. They were very helpful about our room and things in the hotel.

Location is fantastic - unparalelled proximity to Jardin du Petit Palais, Colonnes de Buren, Le Louvre, Le Nemours, etc. The hotel lounge area was nice to hang out in. I loved the little macaron/gouter in the early evenings. Love the espresso/hot water machine available 24/7. Loved how close it it to everything. We love Asian food and it's got that in spades, as well as all of the great French restaurants and cafes just steps away. We got corner room 505 with wraparound balcony and two french doors. Comfortable bed with bench. Round table with two chairs and open shelving is very wise use of space. Small closet and safe. Bathroom was good with bathtub. We appreciated the housecleaning service and turndown service was nice. Especially with the 'fear of bedbugs going around Paris' - we were relieved knowing that La Clef was managing the cleanliness well. We did not have breakfast. Liked the Angelina biscuit tin and personal note from the manager when we checked in. Didn't realize that they left us champagne in the fridge until much later. A nice touch. Would have liked more verbal attention as we go in and out - as we were just mother/daughter traveling alone in Paris. We like the feeling of having staff know your name and watching out for you. Luvine/Ludine at front desk (from Strasbourg) was great! Abdoullah as porter great too.

Maybe some of the eating tables in the lounge could be a bit lower -- the seating is very low so the table feels particularly high. Just a small note.

Fabulous property!!! Beautiful, sparkling clean, spacious rooms (with kitchen and balcony), secure hotel, perfect location and absolutely lovely helpful staff. La Clef Louve Paris is a perfect place to stay in Paris for an exceptional experience. We celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary and all staff made sure our special visit was perfect. From the charming welcoming staff to a big beautiful room with a lovely view, decorated bed and living room table, as well as champagne with chocolates awaiting us, it melted our hearts the moment we walked in. A perfect location, away from crowds, to explore Paris in a lovely neighborhood. The Louvre Museum is just steps away, as well as the metro. It was very convenient for sightseeing. This will definitely be the hotel we return to for future visits. We can not thank the staff enough for making our Paris experience perfect!!!

Loved everything!!!

The friendly staff, especially Arlena in charge of the daily breakfast, made our stay most pleasant. The washer and dryer combination appliance was a pleasant surprise. The view of the plaza from our terrace was unexpected. The staff made sure we were made comfortable and welcomed. The surprise charcuterie and champagne for our 40th anniversary was beyond awesome. And most of all, the kitchen was a jewel! Merci beaucoup!!!

A restaurant in the facility is always a plus especially on rainy days. Could have also used more drawers for clothes. I would have felt more secure if there was a deadbolt or door chain on the inside.

Location was one of the best. My room was nice and spacious. The cleanliness was top notch and the neoclassical interior design was so pretty and relaxing. The reception staff, specially the young lady were so kind and helpful.

I liked it more if it was a bit brighter. Also there was no fan or a window in the toilet. Breakfast was a bit of disappointment and expensive for the price. Also sound isolation could have been better.

Hotel's location is excellent because it is close to many attractions. Rooms are very good. The breakfast requires more varieties but was as per my taste which I liked very much.

Rooms are little bit small compared to other 5-star hotels.

Our expectations were exceeded by the services and facilities.offered by this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we didn't like - it was all exceptional for that price point. Having the kitchen AND laundry facilities was a total surprise and very welcomed!!!

Location was spot on less than 5 minutes from the Louvre. The room was lovely with Old Parisian charm. We were in 304, a corner room with 2 baloney door style windows. Turn down service is a nice touch. High end bathroom toiletries. The bed and the comforter was very comfortable. Complementary champagne and cookies. Great staff and it was well maintained and clean.

I though the bathroom was on the small size. Not enough counter space for my things. The kitchen is a plus but I think maybe not needed with all the local cafés and restaurants around. It could be noisy at night since it's a busy location.

The Location is excellent, a lot of cafes, and places to visit. The room is furnished with washer, dishwasher, kitchenette and big toilet and bath. we had no breakfast though.

bigger space as for 2 beds, a bit tight, and next time i wouldn't take the 1st floor - quite noisy, specially during the night.

-Walking distance to Opera, Louvre, other attractions on that side of the city -Kitchenette with washer/dryer machine was convenient -Secure hotel, card key access and 24-hr staffed lobby -Clean, comfortable hotel room

-Small Junior suite, but that’s typical for downtown Paris! -Staff friendly and helpful, but not service wasn’t outstanding -Booked later, so value for money was not great.
