Exceeded my expectations. Room was large and spacious, booked a triple as given a quad room. Very clean and cleaned everyday. The staff were really polite and helpful. Very good value for money especially for the location.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room size was ok, the breakfast was good as well. By far the best plus, after the friendly staff, is that the location is very close to Louvre and transport stations.

The room had two large windows but they were facing a small enclosed space where the cooling/heating system was located.

We booked a triple room at this hotel for 5 nights. A triple room is for 3 people. Our room had 3 single beds which was fine. The room was clean and had a lovely big bathroom. It was perfect for our stay. From the Eurostar we flagged down a taxi and in the afternoon about 3ish it was 8.50 euros to get to the hotel. On arrival, the reception staff were friendly and remained so for the duration of our stay. We didn't have any breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to get up and go out sightseeing. Breakfast was offered at 10 euros per person. I would recommend this hotel as it is so near to the Louvre Museum. It was a minute or 2 down from Hotel. The lift is quirky my son loved it. Book tickets to the Louvre via the Louvre. I did and I am so glad I did, not much queuing and once inside we went straight to see the Mona Lisa. We booked for 9 am. We walked to Montmartre from the hotel which was 38 minutes, 2.7km from the hotel quite quickly, which enabled us to see some of the streets and shops on the way. Effiel Tower and Arc de Triomphe are a bit further out but easy to get to. We used a taxi and to the Effiel Tower at 8.30 am in the morning for 17 euros. Arc de Triomphe we walked back from and stopped at a restaurant that was fabulous. This restaurant wasn't planned, we were looking to stop at a reasonably priced restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Cafe de I' Olympia, 2 Boulevard de la Madeline 75009 Paris. Some people may think it was expensive but we tried a few restaurants in the area and near our hotel, ones that were recommended for kids on reviews, ones we just stopped at and this is by far the best restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't find it until our last day otherwise we would have gone back. The food was gorgeous, the waiter service was quick and friendly. Chicken or bacon burger 24 euros, Linguine Vegetarienne 18 euros.

We had a back room at the hotel and I had the window open and the noise from people shouting and motorbikes from about 4.30 am til about 5.30 woke me up on 2 occasions. Wanted air to come into the room instead of the noise of the aircon. Service charge watch out at this restaurant Carte Bancaire 45 Avenue de la Bourdonnis 8 euros, the only restaurant we were charged this. Cafe de la Regence 167 Rue Saint Honore 75001 Paris, food is not great, and just down the road from the hotel.

This hotel has the most friendly and accommodating staff. The beds were very comfortable and the location is ideal for visiting Paris. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked into the hotel. I forgot to return the universal plug adapter when we left. 🥺 I am happy to mail it back if requested. Great hotel!

The lift is very small (but myself and my husband are on the larger size.) 😉

the breakfast spread had fresh bread basket and a wide variety of choices. We ate there most mornings coffee was good; however we did go elsewhere for a hot breakfast. Very close to louvre, the river and the train. was a pub below the room which we ventured too. Lots of places to eat, shop and explore nearby,not to mention proximity to museums. We walked or took train everywhere

people complained about the old school metal elevator...you're in paris things are old here. They were doing the street but not a complaint.

- great location - the pillows and the bed were very comfortable - free sleepers - free croissants ;) - nice room - I’ve read about construction works on the street, noise from the neighbours etc. in the hotel and I’ll comment on that. I’m always travelling with earplugs and that helps me not to hear the noises. Yes you’ll hear when someone takes a shower or uses a toilet but it’s not super disturbing and you won’t hear that wearing earplugs. Regarding the construction works outside - yes it’s true and they start early but these works are not super loud.

- Only 2 staff members asked me for my room number giving me the key from my room each time I returned to the hotel. It didn’t feel safe cause… would they give me a key to any room if I name a random room number or not? That’s the question - It would be nice if a city tax would be already included in the price like many hotels do or would be taken by the check in and not as a « good bye surprise » by the checking out

Good location

Only a blanket instead of a duvet. Could be renovated to be more up to date. The breakfast wasn’t enough and only packed cheese was availble.

Breakfast was excellent! A large plain croissant, a chocolate croissant, and a large piece of baguette, plus coffee (excellent with hot milk), juice, cereal and cheese. Lovely jams and butter included as well for 11 euro. The hotel is old but charming. The elevator is the old cage style with room for one or your luggage - not both. My son stayed here in 2019 and there was no A/C, but they have added and we needed it as it was unusually hot. It was clean and comfortable and the room was very large. Location is excellent and the staff was very helpful.

A bedside lamp for reading would be helpful. The hair dryer was broken and the room could use an area rug and maybe a small fridge. If they update the bathrooms it would make a huge difference. We could not get the TV to work but TBH we were not in the room much.

We really loved this hotel. As most people said, the location is beyond ideal, it's only 2-3 minutes away from Louvre and bus stations. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room, its size and the bathroom's size was also very reasonable. We actually got 2 beds (one double and one single) for a double room with shower. We got more that I expected for a 2-star hotel: slippers, toiletries, towels changed every day, there were even croissants for free at the reception. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The elevator was indeed small, but so quaint that I really didn't mind having to go twice with the luggage. I would certainly stay here again!

The staff was wonderful. - friendly, efficient and professional. We needed to make changes to our reservation and they worked with us to insure our reservation remained intact on a very busy weekend. They offered restaurant recommendations, made reservations for us and answered all our questions with patience. The rooms were large and bright with large windows, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. And the location is fantastic....easy access to the Louvre, river and the shopping district. A continental breakfast buffet is offered for an additional cost - very reasonable and with a nice variety of food. There are also many restaurants nearby and metro stops within close walking distance. We would stay here again!
