The room was clean. The beds were fine. There were individual lights with USB ports and a ledge for your phone next to each bed. The air conditioning was fantastic (it was 95+degrees outside). The bathroom was clean and supplied with Body Wash, shampoo, a bar of soap, and a hair dryer. Large closet with shelving and room to hang clothing. There was a self-service laundromat two doors down and a grocery store within a block. The staff were friendly. They offered restaurant suggestions and watched/stored our luggage until our room was ready. The staff took our luggage to our room when we returned. They even had umbrellas for us to use during the stay. The building was secure with a front door locked entry. When looking for the hotel, look the the red door. It is not a wide hotel and you can walk by it.

There is no elevator but we did not mind using the stairs.

Fantastic location, close to the Louvre and within walking distance to many of Paris' attractions. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The staff were very friendly and helped with taking our luggage up the stairs to the third floor. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

There is no lift, only stairs which get quite narrow in certain parts. Reception is up past the first flight of stairs. This was fine for us but something to be aware of.

One room was next to a restaurant which we had basically barbecuing smell in our room

The location was good with lots of great places to eat very close by. We had a slight issue with the bathroom on the first night and it was solved within minutes and very graciously. Really clean too.

On the door it said to ring to check in -this would be a problem if phone had no e-sim or data not switched on. I had received an email about online checking in but hadn’t realised the checking in system. We rang the bell and it was fine but a slightly different note on the door to guests who have booked rather than just the notice to potential guests would be really good . We didn’t mention it at the time so didn’t give anyone an opportunity to rectify but rooms were a little warm even with air conditioner at its lowest!

The hotel staff were very nice and went beyond to be helpful. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the train station, metro, buses, taxis, and sightseeing. The area has an assortment of restaurants and cafes. Also, there are mini markets and shops. The hotel was very clean and a very good ambience.

The only dislike we could find was the stairs. Our room was at the very top of the building, and there was no lift.

The room has a good size, the bed is very comfy and the bathroom is new. The location is perfect with many restaurants in the area, close to the metro and from walking distance to many tourists attractions. I was surprised by the amount of Japanese restaurants in the area! The staff is great, very kind and helpful.

If you are travelling with a big luggage be aware there is no lift. The cleaning of the common area can be better.

Our stay at Hotel Louvre Richelieu was excellent. We felt calm and safe, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfy and cozy. And having a coffee machine with capsules and everything you need to make coffee early in the morning is simply priceless. For tea lovers, there was also a hot water kettle available with different types of tea. The location and the area are just perfect and allow you to enjoy the magic of Paris in peace at any time of the day. We will certainly visit again as well as recommend to friends

- Not too many stairs - Staff was SO FRIENDLY and helpful! Flexible check in hours. - Location was central, a great spot to explore the city from. Lots of restaurants and shops around. The street wasn't TOO loud, but you are in central Paris. We used a travel sound machine. Again, expected street noise in the city. Walls weren't thin or anything like that.

- Our room (triple) was located directly off the check in desk.. was just an awkward set up. I believe that was the only room with that set up.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, we managed to walk to all the sights we wanted to see (Louvre, Musee D'orsay, Saint Chapelle, Eiffel tower, Champs Elysées, Latin quarter, Montmartre, Le Marais) however if you would prefer to travel by metro the nearest metro station is very close by. Despite being in such a central location the hotel is very quiet at night. We caught the Eurostar and found the half an hour walk to the hotel from Gare du Nord was fine - it is accessible by metro but we were happy to walk. We stayed in a double comfort room which was plenty big enough for our stay, the coffee machine in our room was a welcome addition! The bed was really comfortable and the room very clean. The staff were very friendly and provided a map when we arrived and explained the area to us. As other reviews mentioned there are a few stairs and no lift however staff were very helpful and carried our case so it wasn't a concern for us. Some great restaurants locally (Kodawari Tsukiji was fantastic and I would definitely recommend if you like Japanese food, we also went to Bistro Richelieu which is practically next door and had a nice meal although it was fairly pricey and not the best value compared to other places we ate at) and a supermarket about a minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend this hotel - particularly if it is your first time to Paris as it was ours. The central location makes it a perfect place to explore Paris from, thank you for such a fantastic stay!

Enjoyable stay in Paris, the hotel is next to the Louvre museum and to the principal metro line, perfect for a few days in Paris. The hotel is very clean and beautiful, no elevator in the building so do some stretching before to go in the room. Joking aside a very interesting discover in Paris highly recommend
