I love Hotel de Paris. This was maybe my third or fourth stay and every time I am very satisfied. The hotel is located across from the train station and a subway/bus hub. Very convenient to discover the city or travel out of Paris. The neighborhood is safe and offers a lot of dining options (brasseries, cafes, restaurants, creperies). There is a theater nearby. The hotel is clean and quiet. There is an elevator. Some rooms have a view of the patio which is very relaxing. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom spotless. Coffee/tea maker available in the room. Breakfast is served downstairs and offers a lot of cold/warm options. The staff is very helpful and kind. You can leave your luggage at the reception if you must leave well after checking out. I will be back!

Excellent location. Just near to Montparnase station gate next to McDonald's. The room is small, but the counter can keep the lugage at the lobby. We had a pleasant stay there. I strongly recommend this place to people who needs to travel with train.

Reception seems very busy but they were kind except one person who could not communicate in English well. And yes, I tried to speak in French first and my husband is French- whenever I could not understand clearly and ask question the person ignores me and just talk to my husband. Beautiful attitude.

The hotel is in a perfect place for those travelling by train. Just in front of the Gare Montparnasse. The rooms are small, but comfortable, very comfortable bathroom. Everything clean. We had windows to the inner block, and the room was quiet. The hotel has a snug foyer with some board games, which we appreciated, while travelling with children. The Latin Quartier, Luxembourg garden and other touristic attractions are very close.

The hotel is right across the street from the Montparnasse train station, which makes it very convenient for early morning departures. The neighbourhood is full of interesting shops and restaurants, and is not far from the Luxembourg gardens. Good breakfasts, with a machine for self-serve cappuccino, great breads both sweet and savoury, cheese and meat, and I think you can get eggs if you ask. There's an elevator to take you and your luggage to the rooms.

Our shower had a blocked drain, so we had a flood on the first morning that left the carpet outside the bathroom damp for a day afterwards. They were quick to address it when we mentioned it to the front desk, but I imagine it wasn't the first time, since there was a musty pong to the room we were in.

We booked this property for it's proximity to Gare Montparnasse so that we could easily pick up our rental car the next morning while not having to walk too far with our large suitcases and for that, it didn't disappoint. Apart from that, we really liked the location because it was easy to find places to eat even late at night and the area didn't feel dangerous at all. Room-wise, this size was a bit cramped with our 3 suitcases and 2 backpacks. It would be perfect for a solo traveller though. Otherwise, the room was very clean, new, and very comfortable. The aircon worked well, there were cabinets to put my things in and a closet to hang our clothes. On the first night we were there, the heater in our room wasn't working but it was great that they let us use another room to shower in without having to move as well.

Would've been nice had the room been slightly larger or had more floor space for our luggage but for the price we paid, I can't complain!

With our generally low expectations of what a hotel at this price in Paris would be like, we were pleasantly surprised by everything about this hotel. The location was perfect for quickly getting to/from Montparnasse train station, and there are plenty of great restaurants around. The welcome was friendly, efficient and helpful, and all front desk staff were a delight. The room and bathroom were absolutely spotless, and we appreciated small details, such as tea, coffee and cookies, decent size smart TV, good wifi, and good lighting. Our room had zero street noise, which was great, and the bed was super comfortable. All in all, is likely to become our regular for short Paris trips.

Everything was fine. We had a couple of minor issues with appliances, which we reported on departure and had the sense that they will actually follow up. There could be a little internal noise from other rooms, but nothing too disturbing.

The location was great. The room was a good size for one person. The bathroom was clean. Good water pressure! Plenty of towels. Cute decor. I was quite happy when I entered the room, I thought it would be smaller.

The room was very warm even though the radiator and heater was switched off. Unfortunately the bed linens didn't come with a top sheet. This made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. This might be a personal preference although Paris was unseasonably warm the day I was there.

We got 2 free breakfast. We had to pay 4 breakfast At 7 euros per person . I think it is a great deal. Breakfast includes fresh squeezed OJ, good croissants, good cererals, great variety of coffee from a great coffee machine. Scramble eggs with saussage are accetable. Location is very convenient wtih everything closed by. It is quiet afte 11PM. I would stay here next time in Paris. Merci

Situated in a great location, with the station across the road, plus shops, restaurants, bars & cafes within 5 min walk. There was a lift up to higher floors and a comfortable room. Small room however size was advertised and it was what we expected it to be - you are in a beautiful city. No street noise with the windows closed. You can also walk to Luxembourg Gardens in a few mins. Staff were lovely.

Nice Hotel in an excellent location. It is opposite Gare Montparnasse train station, and just one minute walk to the metro station Gaite. There is a Lidl supermarket next door and many eating options close by. My room was nice, clean and had a nice layout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly stay again.
