Very cozy and local, smaller hotel in the centre of Montparnasse. Location is perfect - close to metro, a lot of cafees and restaurants, to the market and to city life in general in Paris/Montparnasse. The hotel has a nice feeling and the staff is very, very friendly and helpful. Even the (old?) hotel dog is extremely relaxed and friendly. Price is fair compared to other hotels in Paris. I shared a family room with my daughters who are 12 and 9 years old. Worked out perfectly fine. We ordered breakfast two out of three mornings. Delivered directly to our room at the time we had requested. A nice day to start the day. Hotel feels safe and you can store your luggage before/after check-in and check-out. If going back to Paris I would definitely consider this hotel again.

If you're into big, fancy hotels you shouldn't book her. The hotel is relatively 'simple', but we liked it and it gave a very 'Paris feeling'. Due to the many bars in the area there will be noise from the street Friday and Saturday nights (we stayed at 4th floor) until late/very early. And garbage in the street seems to be collected before 7.00 both Saturday and Sunday in Paris!? There can also be some noise from the other rooms or the corridor during night time or early in the morning, but it didn't ruin our very good experience. My double bed had seen better days and was a bit fragile, but I survived;-)

Everything about this hotel was just what I could ask for. The location is great, with 2-minute access to not one but two Metro stations and lines. There are numerous cafes and restaurants around, and some bars too, so you can easily have a breakfast, lunch and dinner of your choice. The property looks classic Parisian, and it's clean and well maintained. Nothing was extra or overwhelming. The room size was good by Parisian standards, and very comfortable. All the staff members were hospitable, kind, smiling, and helpful. Overall, very good value for money. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. When I am back in Paris, I will definitely be staying here.

Great area , with lots of cafes and restaurants at our door. Comfortable small room at a reasonable price for two people.. definitely wouldn't fit a third in the room we had. Good size bathroom - but no floor drain, so can't go splashing about in the bath!😄 It was a quiet area at night once the cafes finished. Markets twice a week right across the road - so they start early, but apart from that, the area doesn't really get going til about 8.30-9am. Metro station right across the road. Staff are friendly and obliging. We would be happy to stay there again.

The only thing we found was the metro stations can be a bit of a rabbit warren with unclear signage, but I guess if you use it enough you'd get the hang of it.. but nothing to do with the hotel of course. As stated above there's no floor drain in the bathroom so if you flood the bath or the basin, there's nowhere for the water to go..but I suspect that might be a 'France' thing.. as with so many old buildings - don't think it factors into the building code!?

The location is quite good & one can travel to any key attraction easily by public transport or uber taxi. The suite room at 4th floor was quite comfortable though the overall not much space to move around. For 2-3 days short stay, this was perfect. Hotel staff was very welcoming & offered every possible assistance one can think of - such as collecting & keeping the delayed luggage from Airport; Offering a kettle on request; Arranging breakfast to be served at room on request & even holding the luggage safely when we had to check out early. Neat & clean rooms; Got lift access as well.

Nothing much. Perhaps the family room could have had little more moving space. However for short 2-3 days stay, this was quite comfortable with lift access & pleasant stay!

The location was great. Easy access to multiple metro lines, with most attractions accessible within a 10-15 min ride. There were also plenty of restaurants around. Rooms were clean and the bathroom in the family room was very spacious.

The shower was made for a short person. I am 6.1 and could not wash my hair unless I was crouching down. Also our room was on the 4th floor, and the stairway was pretty dangerous (circular and steep). The banisters felt very unstable and the carpeting was covered with plastic, making it somewhat slippery. If there was one thing that I really disliked about this hotel it would be design and the condition of the stairway.

This hotel is my regular stay when arriving in Paris via Gare Montparnesse. So close to the station, a wonderful food market on its doorstep every Saturday, surrounded by lively, well connected area...and consistently friendly reception service to top off your pleasant stay.

The hotel was right in the middle of Montparnasse with great access to restaurants, cafes, bars and the metro. The elevator was useful for getting up and down from the higher floors, and the staff were very helpful. We had a small balcony overlooking the area, and rooms were cleaned daily. It's not the most flash hotel but had all that you could need.

I liked everything about the hotel. Our family room was really nice, big, clean and location was absolutely amazing . A lot of restorans, bakery shops around . Man on Reception was so nice, welcoming, funny. He is an artist, and he did our hand drawing portret, we liked it and we were very happy to buy it as an amazing and unique souvenir from Paris.

Its an excellent hotel for the rates they charge. I was upgraded into a larger room. This one had an elevator, A/C, large double bed. Its an excellent location, a great cafe downstairs as part of the hotel. I'll return.

The only downside are the tiny bathrooms. Anybody bulky is going to have a problem trying to take a shower.

Staff on reception were lovely - very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect right next to the subway.

My only negative was it was very loud each morning with doors slamming in the corridor. Unsure if this was the housekeepers or guests leaving but was very loud through the walls.
