Well located, quiet, personal and caring staff throughout, and a good breakfast. I had a well appointed modernised room, with carefully thought out facilities, including wall hangers, and a large enough, well equipped wardrobe. But oh dear, the bedroom lighting!

It was not possible to light bedroom 306 sufficiently. I don’t know about any other room, but in 306 the soft lighting and smart switches were insufficient to provide enough light to read by, neither in the room as a whole, nor over the desk/dressing table. Surely it doesn’t have to be either soft lighting and excellent on/off dimmer switches or bright lighting when and where needed. Can’t it be both?

The breakfast was wonderful with a great choice of items at a reasonable price. The ladies at the front desk were so very helpful and friendly. We found the room to be just fine. The hotel was an attractive well kept older building, and the location was a good base for exploring the Dordogne region.

There really wasn't anything to complain about. We had to pay for parking, but the desk staff ladies were helpful in showing us how to use the pay machines for their lot next to the hotel.

room was on the second floor, check in desk was on the first, so up a level along a corridor to my room , which was compact but very clean with a lovely clean bathroom as well. Hotel gave me suggestions where to eat, location was fantastic for Montparnasse main line train station, which i needed to get to early the next morning. It was an easy 5 minute walk. would definately stay again, if required to in that area. even had a complimentary bottle of cold water in the room, happy days.....

Our room was on the top floor, and it was very quiet as requested. We loved the calm breakfast area, the good coffee, and the large assortment of breakfast options. The front desk staff were wonderfully kind and helpful, they let us check in slightly early after a long flight, they offered to help us with our luggage, they let us store our luggage between check out and our train departure, every staff person we met was kind, patient and professional. I would stay here again for sure.

The beds were very hard and since we had to go to bed early due to jet lag we would have liked shutters or shades on the window (there were just curtains), but this was a small point.

The location is great—it's close to public transport and a train station, so it takes only 15 minutes to get downtown. The room was warm and cozy, and they also cleaned it daily. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, so the overall experience was good.

The room feels like a classical Parisian apartment—it's very tiny. This is not a con, but as a recommendation, a mini—fridge would be great in the room.

Excellent location in Montparnasse. Room and bathroom were very clean, staff was kind and attentive. Good alternative for a couple of nights in Paris.

The room is pretty small, as it usually happens in Paris. No space to leave a medium/large suitcase open during your stay (you have to open it on the bed, grab your stuff, and close it). You'll have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to the reception, where there is an elevator to go up to the rooms.

Comfortable room, clean and within a good location close to transport, cafes etc. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The room was a little basic with not much space to put things on table tops/bedside tables. The view could have been better. A kettle with tea bags would have been nice. Some extra toiletries such as shampoo would be useful.

This was our third time staying at this hotel, so clearly I am a fan. The staff here has been consistently wonderful throughout the years, the rooms are super clean with everything you could need at a very fair price, and the location is wonderful. Close to the metro, there's a lovely market around the corner on Saturday, a grocery store less than a block away, and my favorite creperie (Creperie de Josselin) is a 3 minute walk. Breakfast is a perfect start to the day and well worth the price. Just can't say enough how much I enjoy this hotel! Simple, convenient, welcoming, and sparkling clean.

Everything was wonderful!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Excellent location to be very close to Montparnasse station and a big supermarket (both places are good for a last minute souvenir hunting). The receptionists were also quite helpful for their assistance.

The room appeared to be slightly smaller than I expected. I could live with that, but may want to be attentive if you care for the space.
