Friendly staff, excellent location with so many bars and restaurants very close, add to that the superb Metro right outside! There is an electrically operated blind on the outside of the window, ours had an impressive view of the Montparnasse Tower. Even though the hotel is on the corner of a busy road junction the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, the shower is amazing too although the bathroom was in need of some updating, however this did not detract from our satisfaction. Breakfast was available but we did not try it as we tend not to eat early.

Nothing, we will return if we’re in Paris in the future.

The breakfast was good and we were so glad we didn’t have to go out to find something. We had croissants yoghurt fruit and tea all was good with more to choose from if wanted. The breakfast area was bright and well organised although it wasn’t busy when we were there. The hotel is very close to the train station and subway both of which we used with ease. There is a lovely restaurant next door to the hotel and the food was delicious. The staff were happy to help us with any requests and gave us all the information we needed for our overnight stay.

If staying longer it would be helpful to have a bar fridge for milk, cool drinks and a few other things. Also a shelf in the shower for toiletries would have been useful.

We liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. There were some issues with the first room but after the situation was rectified and we changed rooms everything was perfect!! PS: the housekeeper that did the room not only changed everything and the room was always clean and was “fresh” with a nice smell, but we had some flowers and also did care for them, and added water which we found it was very nice and kind! Overall: location 10/10 staff 11/10 rooms 8/10. No comment on breakfast as we never had any.

The only thing that we don’t like is that we had an issue with the first room but everything turned out to be beyond expectations, as the issue was rectified and the staff was kind and improved the overall experience!

I booked this hotel as a last-minute solution because of the vandalism to the TGV lines that forced me to stay one night in Paris. Excellently served by transportation: metro station, trains (Gare de Montparnasse) and buses within walking distance of the entrance. My room (single) was not very large but necessary for my needs, comfortable, clean, very comfortable bed, kettle for tea and coffee. Same for the bathroom. Kind and courteous staff. I did not take advantage of breakfast (not included in my reservation) so I cannot make a judgment on that. Fair price considering Paris, the fact that I stayed on the opening day of the Olympics and the reservation made in the early afternoon for the night itself.

Rooms could be a little bit bigger, but it's not an issue if you stay out in the City all day.

Excellent location opposite Montparnasse station and tower, so very easy if you are travelling by train and have a lot of luggage. Simple but comfortable rooms and not a bad size for Paris. Bed and pillows very comfortable and electric shutters means you can have complete black out. Kettle with tea and coffee was much appreciated. Not too noisy considering it's in such a busy location. Staff were helpful and desk is manned 24 hours, fine to leave luggage behind desk after check out. Check in is early (from 2pm and check out late (12pm) which is nice, to not have to rusg=h out in the morning. It's not a luxury hotel, but has everything you need, great value, comfortable and clean, perfect for an overnight stop, work trip or if you'll be out sightseeing most if the day. Most importantly I felt safe as a lone female traveller.

We flew into Paris in the evening and had a early train the following morning so wanted a hotel close to Montparnasse station. You can see the Miramar sign as you exit the metro at Montparnasse Bienvenu so it was perfect for us and so easy to find! Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean and modern room and bathroom with new A/C all made for a perfect stay . We arrived after 9pm but were able to get a good value meal and a drink at the cafe/bar next door to the Miramar. We didn’t book breakfast at the hotel but ate at another cafe just across the road as the one next door didn’t open for breakfast until 8.00am and we had a 9.00am train so needed to eat a bit earlier.

Nothing not to like. Lift was tiny but not the smallest we’ve seen in Paris ! Just big enough for two people if you don’t have a lot of luggage .

Thank you for staying up to let me in after midnight with crazy train delays. Thankyou for the friendly, helpful desk staff - I would not have run to the Eiffel Tower without his help and would have missed a great opportunity! I also would have caught a taxi to the airport and missed the opportunity to see Paris via metro. I’m so grateful for your help. I was so exhausted from travel and nervous being in my own, but you made my trip into Paris worth something.

It’s close to the metro, easy to reach the city center. The Staff is helpful. Room is small and essential but good value for two people, the bed is comfortable. We were right over a café/restaurant very good place to eat as well. It wasn’t too noisy, but better to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. We got shampoo and soap, good shower and you can ask for the room to be cleaned everyday.

Booked at very short notice ref a problem at other hotel previously booked. Miramar gave us a fine clean room. Almost in Gare Montparnasse. Staff excellent. No fuss and efficient. I definitely would recommend if you are in this area of Paris. Superb traditional cafe underneath.
