The location is perfect. The breakfast was not fancy but more than adequate. I woke up some days to the smell of baking bread! Staff always very pleasant and the room clean. Very nice brasserie next door yummy food nice staff reasonably priced. I had a courtyard room which had no view but it was very quiet and I slept well. Comfy bed and good AC.

I knew that the small shower had been a complaint for many, I think if you had mobility problems it would be an issue but it was fine for me. Yes proper mugs and glasses instead of paper cups would be nice, but not a deal breaker. No real complaints.

Location was great, two metro stations reasonably close. Room was clean but quite small, although that might be true for most hotel rooms in Paris. Bathroom was functional.

The door to the hotel room could isolate the noises from the corridor a bit better. I woke up several times when somebody else was leaving their hotel room early in the morning. Also alarm clocks from other rooms can be clearly heard.

The hotel was much better than I expected after reading mixed reviews! It was located next to many cafes, shops, metro and monuments (Le Louvre). It was clean, staff was extremely friendly and made an effort to communicate with us in English when we struggled with our French. It was amazing to have AC in the room and the balcony provided a nice view where we could spend time just looking out. It was 3 of us and it fit all of us perfectly. We had 3 twin beds but 2 were pushed to make it seem as one but that wasn’t a big deal.

No mini fridge in the room. Had to ask for the iron and iron clothes downstairs but not too much trouble. Staff were very accommodating and set it up for us.

Older tv no casting opportunities, keycard on the door takes multiple attempts to open, toilet keeps refilling/internal leakage.

The staff were always friendly, polite and helpful. Helped with location, taxis etc at the reception. Lady at breakfast was lovely. Paid extra for breakfast, mainly pastries, croissants, cheese, ham, yoghurts, juice, hot drinks. Looked forward to it. Hotel was very clean, comfortable, lots of towels in room. Clean and a comfortable (hard) bed. Had a kettle in room. Radiators in bedroom and bathroom so very warm if required to be. Hotel looks nice, photogenic staircase! In a decent location for us. Perfect for a comfortable stay.

The hotel has one lift which broke several times. This wasn’t a problem for me on floor one but another in our party was in a room on floor six and has health issues so this was a big problem using the stairs. I liked our room on floor one, the bathroom was small but had all amenities, towel heater, lovely powerful shower over bath with hot water, the size may bother some guests but was fine for us. Could be noisy outside later on in the evening as room on the street side but did not bother me. Only had 6 coat hangers which is not enough for two guests. Had a kettle but only provided sachets for two cups over our stay of five days. Had to buy coffee and milk which went sour as no mini fridge.

A delightful hotel situated close by to the Louvre museum which was absolutely stunning and full of paintings, sculptures and so much history. We were fortunate enough to visit Sacre Coeur church and Eiffel tower on a sunny day and take a walk along the Seine. We would have loved to have stayed an extra day but the price of the room was abit expensive for that. The staff were extremely helpful, especially Samee. The room was comfortable with plenty of hot water with a small view of the street. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants near by. Wonderful memories were made here on our short visit to Paris, the city of lights.

Would have had liked a small bedside table near the window for the third bed as I lost my reading glasses when I placed them on the headboard behind me not realising that there was a gap! A hand rail getting into the bath would be nice, as a safety aspect.

This is my 2nd time at TimHotel Palais Royal. I love this location; it is close enough to the main tourist attractions, bus and metro yet far enough from the bustling areas; it is, in fact, a quiet area. I felt very safe. The staff is always wonderful, polite and helpful. The room is up to standards very clean. I will come again the next time I am in Paris:)

I am not a fan of the courtyard view, but that is my fault for not requesting a street view. There is nothing particularly bad about it, but the street view is definitely more charming. I would still highly recommend staying here.

We were triple rooms on the 2nd and 3rd Floors. Very comfy beds and clean sheets - bathroom was good. Reviews had said the rooms in the hotel were small but the triple was really fine for us. The staff could not have been friendlier and stored our bags on the checkout day so we were free from carrying them. Really good location with the Pain Quotidien and several very handy restaurants nearby. We could walk to the Eiffel Tower.. Louvre was handy so we saved a lot on trains and taxis. Perfect thanks

The bathroom was fine for us but maybe could do with a small refresh although it was very clean. Towels were on the small side but worked well. Nice to have a kettle in the room for a change. Hard to criticise really - all worked very well for us and the bathroom comment is just because its a review - I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise!

The room was very comfortable for a solo traveller, the facilities were of good quality and everything was super clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. The staff were very courteous and helpful throughout my short stay. The location of the hotel is perfect - next to Galerie Vivienne and a few steps from Palais Royale with easy connections to Gare du Nord. I will definitely be returning.

The only thing I would say could be improved would be the availability of more 'healthy' items for breakfast like nut milks or plant-based yogurts and cheeses without needing to request them beforehand.

Bed was super comfy. Maid was lovely and always checked in with us if we wanted anything. The room was small, as are all city hotel rooms but it was very nice and in a lovely street.

I'd have to be really picky to find anything wrong but I'd have loved bottles of water in the room every day instead of tea/coffee because it was very warm when we were in Paris.
