During June and July 2024, I stayed in eight hotels as part of a spontaneous honeymoon tour. Paris was one of our stops, and when my wife and I entered La Fantaisia Hotel, we couldn't believe how amazing it was. As someone who usually keeps my reviews brief and general, I felt compelled to break this habit for La Fantaisia. We booked a small room with an internal view and informed the hotel staff that we were on our honeymoon. They upgraded our room to one overlooking the garden. From the moment we entered the street where the hotel is located, we felt we were in the right place. The area is full of restaurants and cafes, yet not crowded. A metro station just a minute away provided direct access to the Louvre Museum. From the same station, we easily reached Disneyland, the Eiffel Tower, and an outlet mall. Bus stops nearby offered routes to all destinations. Right outside the hotel's entrance, there were bikes for rent. Checking Google Maps, I found numerous highly-rated restaurants nearby, many of which we visited and found deserving of their ratings. Regarding the hotel itself: the decor, color schemes, attention to detail, and the staff's professionalism and friendliness were exceptional. Not a single person was an exception; everything exceeded expectations. I never thought I would appreciate a hotel entrance, bar, elevator, or hallway as much as I did here. Our beautiful room was beyond description. Every detail, from the smallest paper to every piece of candy, gift, and decor, was astonishing. For a keen observer, this place was incredibly comfortable. I couldn't find any faults; everything was perfect. Due to the hotel's excellence, we extended our stay in Paris, making it our final destination, and spent a week at the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't try their breakfast, but I'm certain they excel in that area too.

This is an absolutely fantastic hotel to enjoy a trip to Paris! The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. The interior design of the hotel was created with a lot of love to detail. There is a beautifully arranged garden where you can enjoy your breakfast. The breakfast is a fine collection of cheese, fruit salads, assorted breads, smoked fish and much more. On the 7th floor is a roof top bar with a great selection of drinks. The rooms are cleaned twice per day. After a day of sightseeing, the absolute highlight is to relax in the spa. It consists of three pools offering different water temperature and a jacuzzi. There are also three saunas, a gym and massage offerings. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area near the city center. It is surrounded by lots of nice restaurants and bars. If you want to buy amazing French cheese for a picknick, there is a fromagerie and a bakery just across the road. The Metro station "Cadet" is one minute away. If you want to make yourself a present, stay in this hotel for a few nights. I can absolutely recommend it for a memorable stay in Paris.

Not a thing ! So charming and beautifully decorated

The spa amenities were amazing, and having access to a shower after a long flight was very appreciated. The room was compact but had everything we needed, and the turndown service was lovely. Cafe at the front had a good vibe. Staff were very helpful and assisted with restaurant bookings. Design and details of the hotel were fabulous. Luxurious without being pretentious.

The buffet breakfast was an expensive addition and the food wasn’t replenished, and the manager did his best to fix the issue after we spoke to them. Patio restaurant was closed for repairs when we were there which was a shame. The rooftop bar was too busy for us to enjoy, as there were no outdoor tables remaining.

Absolutely LOVED staying at La Fantaisie - the interior design is stunning, modern and contemporary. All details in the room are thought through to perfection. Beautiful colours, very comfy bed, spacious bathroom with big shower. Service and staff were incredible. The roof terrace is basically a garden and beautifully designed, don't miss out going there. Location is very convenient: close to Gare du Nord (walking distance) , in the middle of the 9th and you can get everywhere in no time. Will stay here again.

Everything was perfect.

It was an amazing experience from the very beginning to the end. The staff, the room, the amenities, and the ambience were all collectively ‘fantastic.’ We even managed to hit the spa twice during the stay. The garden, albeit small, oozed cozy and private vibes with beautiful lightings at night. Every piece of interior was impeccably treated with amazing color schemes. The interior finish was seamless. I would definitely come back.

We had high hopes for the breakfast which wasn’t quite on par with our expectations, but it was still very pleasant. Oh, Americano was exceptional.

We really enjoyed all the reception, spa and café staff. They were very helpful, kind and service-minded. The hotel interior design is beautiful and fun.

Poor communication with breakfast restaurant staff. We ordered a croissant that never came. When we asked about it later, they told us breakfast was closed even though there were several croissants left. We asked if they could remove this from our bill, but it was still on our bill. We felt the waitress was impolite and impatient with us during this. The food in the restaurant for dinner could be better. Not great steak or bearnaise.

I loved every single detail of the room. It was small, but it was exceptionally well decorated and had everything I needed. The staff were wonderful, the entire hotel is so charming and cozy. Every little detail was meticulously designed. I also expected the location to be a bit further from everything but it was an easy walk to almost everywhere I needed to go on foot.

I expected the bed to be a bit more comfortable but it wasn't bad...it was just a little harder than what I am used to.

We’ve been to Paris dozens of times and this has become one of new favorite hotels. All looks new and the decor is so lovely. Rooms are spacious for Paris standards and have everything you need. Bed is really comfortable, closet has enough room, and the shower was spacious. Wifi works perfectly. Staff was always nice. Will definitely come back.

Food and drinks prices are very high even for Paris but there are plenty of places nearby to grab dinner or a drink.

Loved the aesthetics of the hotel, very pretty and feels like a countryside home away from home! The staff were absolutely wonderful, they even left me extra cookies in my room after I expressed how fantastic they were! They have an amazing patisserie chef on-site so all of the baked goods were fantastic! Also great that there is a spa on-site, decided to have a last minute massage before going home which was very good!

Not the fault of the hotel, but the small street it is situated on, the taxis/ ubers don't like driving down here so you will need to just walk to the end of the street on the corner. Not far but annoying if you're in heels/ raining! The staff did help me with the luggage to the taxi when I was leaving but would have been easier if the taxi would pull up right outside.
