June 2025

For the price during June busy season, you get a great location and the room was to be expected; small like many rooms in Paris but it was very quiet and it had a window that I was able to climb out of and enjoy the night breeze, very nice! As mentioned, the location is only a few minutes--max!--from the entrance of Pigalle metro if you get off on correct side, and there is serious nightlife if you like that down the street! Moulan Rouge is only 3 bloocks away. Some may not want to be in such a zone but it was quite interesting seeing that part of Paris for first time. Montemarte is only a five min walk up the hill, so great location in my opinion. As for the room, SMALL is the only way to describe it. Bathroom has everything but again, small. I've come to expect every room priced in economical range (in Paris) to be small so I was not surprised, but take note of this if you prefer rooms with more space. I was able to get my bag and backpack in with the desk/chair and bed and tight walking space, that is it. Bathroom is meant for JUST ONE PERSON, shower as well. It was clean and bed was a bit softer than I prefer but it was comfortable. It has a fan but I didn't need it, TV as well. Overall, I have no complaints and would go back next time I'm in Paris.

It does NOT have an elevator! So if you travel heavy, be ready to walk your things up.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel was very clean. Its location was excellent, and it was very easy to reach by metro. There were really lovely restaurants nearby, offering delicious meals at more affordable prices compared to central Paris. The hotel didn’t have an elevator, but we stayed on the second floor, so it wasn’t a problem for us. The room was cleaned every day. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so I have no opinion about it. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the hotel was located in a very elegant neighborhood.

Loved the location! Was easy to get to places. Pigalle metro is just down the road. Up the road you have Montmartre. The rooms were also very clean and were cleaned everyday.

We were on the 4th floor and there is quite a few steps to get up there. I think this is quite normal for Paris though. The only other thing was the timed light. We arrived at night and took us awhile to get up the stairs with all our bags. The light kept going out and we didn't know where the light switches were. Wish there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Great location and communication prior to arrival. Be prepared for some steep stairs - our rooms were on the 4th floor with no elevator/lift. Rooms were small but fine size-wise. Facilities a little dated but more than comfortable. Staff on reception desk super-friendly and there 24hrs so you leave your room key on your way out for the day/evening. Overall, for the price, a great stay.

Facilities a little dated but for the price and location was all good.

Everything is very basic but does the trick. My room had a big window that faced a courtyard so I could open it at night without much noise. Luggage story was easy and convenient too. Only a 30 min walk or 20 metro from the Gard du nord. Very short walk from the moulin rouge, with lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets just moments away.

It's very basic, so no kettle, no cup for water. There was shower gel and soap though. No lift in the hotel either which is no issue for me personally.

The location was perfect for getting into the city quickly or just exploring the Montmartre area. There are loads of good restaurants around and the train is easy to use. The staff were friendly and kind.

The rooms were noisy. You could easily hear the people next door or upstairs. When other rooms used the water, the pipes ran through our bathroom and were noisy. But it's not a major problem, just get earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Very simple, clean and good location. Friendly staff, good at communicating across language barrier and available all night for late returners (round the corner from the Moulin Rouge).

It was great for our needs. Tight stairs, no lift and smallish room so not if for you you have big luggage, mobility issues, or want a fridge and coffee maker in your room or a hotel breakfast.

The room was very clean and tidy with daily cleaners coming in, the bedding was all clean and bed was comfy! Great location in the heart of Montmartre and on the doorstep of Pigalle station which was perfect for getting around the city. The staff were very kind and accommodating as well as easy to contact via the booking.com chat. We requested a room with a balcony which provided a view of Parisian streets. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for Montmarte! Close to all the boutique shopping, restaurants, and Sacré-Cœur, short distance to the train station. Lovely room, big enough to lay out 2 big suitcases, bed was very comfortable and neighbourhood was not noisy despite being in a fairly central location for tourists! Clean facilities and lovely staff!

As with most of the old buildings in the area, there isn’t an elevator so you will be carrying luggage up stairs. The wifi was also a bit difficult to maintain on the floor we were on but my guess is the strength of the signal is better on some of the other floors!

The room was clean and cozy- perfect to come back to after a hot and long day in the city with a big window and a good amount of space for my friend and I. Also, the location was very convenient, being close to the metro and in a beautiful part of Paris. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Would really recommend!
