The hotel is in a perfect central location and the staff are very friendly. Our room was on the top floor which was fine for our 3 night stay. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. It was cleaned to a high standard each day. We would stay here again but maybe ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

My only issue with the room is that we weren't really able to have the curtains or window open on the Thursday afternoon and Friday morning whilst we were getting ready as our window looked directly into an office and the workers in there were staring straight back at us. The distance between the 2 windows was only a couple of feet across the narrow alley.

The hotel only has someone in reception for limited hours. We arrived at midday to discover the hotel locked and not open until 3pm, so we were unable to store our bags. To be fair, the information provided on booking.com doesn't indicate they will store luggage and nor does it indicate that there is a 24-hour reception. In essence, we needed to read between the lines. Having no one on reception after 8pm also meant when we had problems with the air conditioning we had no one to talk to.

Very central location. 1 min walk to Castle, main square & cathederal. Two sided balcony in room was really nice. Reception staff very warm, welcoming & helpful. Breakfast available if wanted at an extra cost. Very secure hotel. Clean & crisp bed linen. Daily housekeeping of room. Free toiletries. Shopping area & Tourist Information less than a minute away. Just a perfect location. Only 10mins by car from airport & Catalan Dragons stadium

Safety deposit box wasn't working & couldn't leave cases in reception when we arrived, as it only opens at 3pm. Advance notice of door code would have been very helpful to store luggage until reception opened & we could check in. Beds a little hard

Wonderful find in the middle of the historic centre - only stayed one night but it was a super, easy to find, quirkey hotel, I loved it! Beds were comfy in the twin bed room my son and I had, plenty of space in the quiet room and facilities all good and clean. The reception staff were lovely and friendly nothing was a bother and they let us keep our cases in the foyer whilst we spent the day in Perpignan before we went off for the train (an easy 20 - 25 mins walk). I will be back!

the most enjoyable part was staying in the heart of the old town. we liked the interior decoration of the hotel. The room was comfortable, air conditioning was working well - we had everything needed for a good night's sleep. the staff was friendly, btw they only spoke Franch.

we arrived at 12 hrs from the bus station and unfortunately it was not possible to leave our luggage at the hotel. We could do it only at 15:00. So during the period 11:00-15:00 nobody is answering the phone or opening the door.

Incredible location, everything within a 5-10 min walk. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very attentive and helpful hotel manager. Recommended.

Kettle in the bedroom but no extra coffee making facilities (instant coffee the only option). Paper cups could be replaced with proper mugs. No fridge in the room. Breakfast was fine if a bit basic.

I came to Hotel de la Loge after staying in a place without air conditioning on the hottest nights in France. This was a welcome relief. The area is lovely. The staff are friendly. And they looked after my bike in the foyer and even though no one was on the front desk overnight there was someone there keeping an eye on things which was very reassuring.

The shower pressure was not as strong as I’d like but that wasn’t a major issue

The advert in Booking is misleading. It says there is a garage. There is NOT a garage, we chose the hotel on the basis of having a garage for the car, as stated in Booking.com. When we arrived, there was no garage!!!

The bedroom and bathroom were huge. The hotel was very tastefully decorated but kept its old fashioned style. The two staff were so helpful

Paper cups in the bedroom for tea and coffee. The towels in the bathroom were rather small. Little things that would lift the hotel even more. Nonetheless I would stay there again

We only stayed in Perpignan for one night. The Hotel de la Loge was the perfect place for us. Right down town with shops and restaurants all around. At the same time the room was very quiet. The bedroom and bathroom are really spacious and extremely clean. The young man at reception couldn't have been nicer and the breakfast was very good value and plentiful. We totally recommend.

The bedroom was a bit dark and maybe the walls could be painted a light colour instead of dark grey
