Location is excellent for a visit to Perpignan. You are on the doorstep for many restaurants, bars & central shops etc. We had a nice view of the canal in front of the hotel. Despite being in the centre we weren't disturbed by noise. It was excellent value for money for a high season visit. Staff are friendly and there are several 24hr secure car parks nearby. We found Central was the cheapest. Rooms are basic but comfortable with good air con. This is our 3rd visit here. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it for advantage of its location.

There appears to be work going on in hotel so lots of bare wood /chipboard on view. It doesn't affect your stay but the hotel is need of some refurbishment.

The staff were very helpful upon arrival with clear instructions on use of keys to room and front door. Good location with underground parking available nearby. Room was functional with ensuire good shower room and WC. Breakfast was simple and enjoyable with a good choice. Excellent bars and restaurants nearby and close to shops and tourist attractions. Liked the calmness of the hotel despite its location. Any hotel with a big good natured dog in reception is homely.

This hotel has the best location. Right at the entrance to the center of town. Our room had been redecorated and was spotlessly clean. Lovely white bedding and warm duvet. Shower was powerful, with very hot water. Breakfast was good with tasty, fresh pastries. Car parking was in a municipal park and close to the hotel. Both owners were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and evening in Perpignan.

The location is great, right in the middle of the city center. In our case, we were able to easily park the car in the street because it way a bank holiday, not sure how parking is around the area. The room had a mini fridge and AC, which ended up being super important, since it was very hot (mid august).

The building has elevator, but it does not fit the baggage cart, so if you cannot be used to easily move a lot of luggage upstairs. Reception closes very early, at 8pm. We arrived there at 8.30 and had to enter a code to get in (the properly called us beforehand and send the code to us, we had no issue). The bed was not the most comfortable. We were exhausted and only stayed for one night, so that was good enough, but not sure if I would like to sleep there for 4/5 days.

The owner behind the reception, a great bloke always ready with advice for anything you need in the city, and you can just tell he wants all of his clients to have the best possible time while visiting! And the wife in charge of the breakfast, what a sweetheart! Even taught me how to pronounce some key words! 10/10 for the staff from me. The facility itself is very old, and you should keep that in mind. It's even possible you might find an appliance so old here you've only seen them in movies before, especially if you're a young traveller like myself. I found all this fascinating and fun change for the usual, but I could see how someone would be turned off by this. And then the size of the room.. the bathroom alone was about the size of the rooms you usually get, and on top of that there was of course the room for sleeping, and that too was more than big enough for my needs. So really the size of the room shouldn't be an issue for anyone staying here, that's for sure!

The building itself is very old, and the tiles and the appliances in many cases might be almost the original ones, which for me, is quite an opposite to a negative, but I could see someone not being into it, so I think it should be mentioned. Also the reception is open during very limited hours, once you're checked in you can go in and out as you please, but if you arrive early, be prepared to kill the time until the reception opens again in the afternoon.

Emergency stay ! But good value for money, and the lady at Reception was just WONDERFUL: so friendly, helpful, kind… and the other lady with whom we interacted was delightful, too. Rooms were fine in an older hotel, no frills.

Air con could be looked at (but great fan provided at no extra cost); ‘courtyard view’ is overselling it, but a little spend (paint, plants: 1 day’s work) could have it fixed for a year ! A bit of money and care could have this hotel up its prices a little to recoup the outlay. Perhaps a cheap coffee machine in the rooms ? Again, it would justify the outlay.

We went to Perpignan for Fete de La Musique and the hotel was ideally situated in the inner city for accessing the venues, cafes and restaurants on foot. It is an older style French hotel which we find charming. The bedroom is small but comfortable and air conditioned and there is a large bathroom. The couple on the reception desk were friendly and helpful. There is a lift to the upper floors.

A classic vintage French hotel. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and the water was hot! We had the large room on the top floor with a view across the town, magical. Salvador Dali stayed here back in the day, so that's pretty cool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a lift too.

Nothing, we loved the old world charm of the hotel.

The bedroom had openable double glazed French windows and was tastefully decorated. The views were interesting and leafy. The area is delightful & was peppered with cafés in the morning. The Hippopotamus nearby served tasty evening fòod. There were many good restaurants nearby for lunch. The shower had a wide enough entrance for me. The ensuite was well equipped and spotless. The coffee at breakfast was very good. There was a functioning lift. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Was given extra pillows with a smile. The see through desk chair was surprisingly very comfortable. The breakfast fruit was very frresh. The whole place is very homely and friendly service was a delight. The instruction manual for TV, phone etc. is very clear and helpful.

Bed was a little too low but very comfortable. Getting out of it was a challenge for me since I am heavy with painful knees. I forgot to ask for a kettle. Continental breakfast had no cheese, butter or ham but had a fine array of jams and good croissants. I would have preferred a noon exit as I am very slow in the morning. I would like booking.com to make it clear one has not paid the bill by giving card details. It is embarrassing for the staff and the customers to have a strong misunderstanding around full payment needing to happen on departure. They are very polite about it but customer confusion is not something they should need to field.

We had a very warm welcome. The location was perfect or us. The room was large, simple and very clean. The breakfast was very good. Again we were warmly welcomed when we came down for breakfast
