It was a little disappointing that there was no 'welcome pack' - we had been travelling all day so milk, bread, butter, eggs etc. would have been very welcome until we were able to shop the following day.

The home was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and in a quiet area. The kitchen was well-equipped, and everything was in working condition. We were very warmly and kindly welcomed. All in all we had a very wonderful experience.

The pool was a little smaller than what we had anticipated. But it was still wonderful and so refreshing when the weather got hot.

Nice place very quiet and lots of outdoor space.

The trees were all a bit overgrown, could have done with being cut back more to get more light in and to allow easier access down the paths.

Quiet property in the country yet close to Porto Vecchio.

Nice little house, well decorated. Got a plancha outside which is nice.

Hardly any airco. Only 1 in living room , but it hardly works. No airco in the bedroom where it is most important. Really bad in summer. Was a big nest of wasp near the pool. Couldn’t enjoy the pool during the day. Owner didn’t told us or did something about it.

Beds were ok confortable, good to have an outdoor space

Very rude owners! Not nice at check out! They did not treat us as a guest, but as if we OWE they something… The pictures and description showed a private space, in reality it is not private. Swimming pool is next to the road, it was very noise. We did not like the rooms that faced common areas and neighbours can see you inside your place. But the worse is the owners and their attitude - rude, not polite, and not accommodating. Just to give an idea: we were asked to take garbage out at the morning of checkout in our car in an agressive and mean way. We did it just to make sure we get deposit back. It was suppose to be our romantic honey moon trip… avoid this place!

I was travelling with my niece and we booked the 2-bedroom villa. It was stunning! Clearly Delphine and her husband have a passion for building/restoring in what I would call a 'smart rustic' style. The villa was very spacious, fully equipped, very comfortable and very stylish. It is very relaxing to sit by the private pool. The pool was still cold in early May, but I am sure it would be a brilliant 'welcome back' after a hot summer's day of sightseeing/shopping. There was also an outdoor area for eating and another outdoor area with lovely lounge furniture. The paved pathways leading to the villas with lush vegetation all around were almost magical. We could have spent all day there, and we wished we had more time. Delphine and her husband welcomed us on arrival and showed us around. They are a delightful kind couple who made sure we felt welcome and 'at home'. I cannot recommend Salvacintoggio villas highly enough.

We struggled to find Salvacintoggio villas. We did not have global roaming on our phones and had to rely on the hire car's navigation system, which could find the road but not the premises. But this was a feature throughout our stay in Corsica - people use GPS coordinates which we did not have access to. But never mind - Delphine stood out on the road and flagged us down as we passed the gate for the 4th time!!! If you are looking for somewhere to walk to shops and restaurants, this isn't the place. But if you're looking for a beautiful haven of tranquility - this is definitely it! The location was fine for us - we appreciated the privacy away from the buzz of Porto-Vecchio. The villas are situated a very short distance from the main road around Porto-Vecchio, so it is very easy to get anywhere if you have a car.
