Two of us shared a room here at the Sure Hotel on the second night of cycling from the UK to Italy. We arrived after an 81 mile ride with 4,000 feet of climbing from Calais and were given a very friendly welcome on arrival. Our bikes were put in a spacious, secure locked room just off the reception area with no problem. Our room did smell of cigarette smoke and the receptionist immediately put us in another room, no problem. There is a Mammoth restaurant just a walk away and a restaurant opposite as well so eating for 2 hungry cyclists was no problem. Really good shower, a must for travel weary cyclists and a good hairdryer for drying our post wash kit. Good breakfast to get us on our way. I seem to have said a lot of 'no problems' ha ha, and there weren't any! Very good all round. Very good price. Recommended.

Everything was as we hoped for.

Better than average hotel for the money, spacious room, very comfortable bed, everything was clean, even an English news channel on the TV in bedroom, breakfast was very good. Free parking in hotel carpark. No evening meal but a very good restaurant 2 minute walk opposite the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.

WiFi didn't work in the morning

I beleive the price was reasonable considering the available amenities. The room was small but comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. The hotel is close to hicking areas and is located a green an calm environment.

Checkout was not too early, so we could enjoy breakfast. The family room had one front door, split into two rooms, the kids loved having their own room! Reception was very friendly and helpful, at breakfast and also when we arrived late (2am, 24 hr reception it seems). Electric car chargers available (not sure if listed, we drove a petrol car so did not try).

Some noise from next bathroom. Nothing major.

The towels were a little small and the bathroom door was very heavy and difficult to open

Excellent restaurant over the road with good beer and wine. Motorcycles felt secure parked in the large carpark witch has a gate locked at night. Staff very friendly and good breakfast. excellent value.

Good location next to a shopping centre and a restaurant across the road. Comfortable bed and clean room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Duvet was a bit warm for the temperature.

Friendly reception staff, good sized room and comfortable bed. Satisfactory breakfast. The room was quiet and free parking. Excellent restaurant opposite for evening meal.

the staff on reception, Sophie was a real gem, I hope Best Western appreciate her and she is definitely a a wonderful asset for them, back to the property now it was clean affordable perfect location for our base for a couple of days , you can get a 10% off voucher for the restaurant next door whose food in incredibly good !
