Excellent location, right opposite the railway station. Extremely comfortable bed and bed linen. One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The front desk staff member was very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little small. We have 2 medium sized suitcases but difficult to fit them in. It was better when we managed to fit one of them in the wardrobe. We suggest changing the wardrobe into space for suitcases.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to the centre of the village, next to the train station. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the hotel was quite diverse: hot - scrambled eggs, sausages, also cold meat, cheese, jams, yoghurt, pancakes, cereals, bread, crosant, coffee, hernata, juices, chocolate. There was something for everyone. I strongly recommend.

A very nice and cozy hotel, centrally located in front of the railway station. The room was quite large. Recently renovated.

In the room, there were no place to put your baggage. There was only a chair and the desk. The faucet in the bathroom was half broken and was extremely difficult to wash yourself.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. I liked the buffet breakfast, it was varied and good quality. I stayed two nights over the weekend and the hotel was quiet. There is a nice view on the train station of Valenciennes from the 4th floor of the hotel where my room was located.

The Situ Hotel is conveniently located to everything in the heart of the town of Valenciennes. It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend anyone to stay at this quaint hotel for their visit. I would definitely return. Other people have commented about the noise of the trains, but honestly, that isn't really an issue even though the hotel is directly across from the train station. That guaranteed that I would not miss my train, so that was a plus for me. :)

After hours, guests have to ring a bell to be let back into the hotel. This feels a little intrusive, but I understand the reason for safety purposes. Also, they are VERY punctual with taking away the breakfast, so it's best to give yourself a little extra time or pick up something elsewhere if you miss it.

Everything during my stay was good. Good staff, nice room, small but suitable breakfast, nearby train station, nice view from window (room 32) and good level of cleanliness each day.

smaller spaces, but still used them very well. sliding bathroom door works well but sounds carry in / out of bathroom/shower. Not a big problem, just different. otherwise really impressed with the use of the spaces in the room as well as in the breakfast area
