Loved the ancient building. Beautifully, authentically rejuvenated with much love. Hotel Staff very friendly and efficient. Our bedroom and shower room were huge and redolent of atmosphere. Not quite the case with the evening restaurant staff, whose attention and interest appeared to be constantly elsewhere!

Better trained evening restaurant staff. Service was not professional. They are not constantly watching the guests, attending to their needs, filling glasses etc. What a pity that they let down the side. The breakfast girl was superb; bright, cheerful and hardworking. Eyes everywhere.

This is an exceptional hotel. My first stay was 2 years ago on business and I am pleased I could bring my husband here to enjoy our last night on holiday in France. The hotel is stunning, the staff are incredibly welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. Dinner was simply a culinary treat, perfect for celebrating a last night on holiday. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of high quality and local produce. Thank you!

We were absolutely amazed when we entered this historic building. It has been maintained beautifully to preserve its history. I was so overwhelmed when shown through our room. The restaurant is a definite must. The food and service are exceptional.

There was nothing about yh8s property that was disappointing. Parking was street or secured across the road in a parking building. No air-conditioning but not expected in such a historic building.

Great food and lovely large room in a very old property. Good location in the centre with public parking opposite if the free places are taken.

There was no air con as mentioned probably due to the age of the property over 600 years old. Fans were provided but in 32 degree heat not altogether effective. Our neighbours in the room above also started walking around on all the creaky floorboards in the early hours so not a good sleep. I know this is not the fault of the hotel but I did book after searching for air con in a property, so maybe the description needs to be corrected please.

Wonderful building and a superb restaurant. Very good central location and lovely staff.

Car parking is only available in a public car park which has the French characteristic of having been designed to make it virtually impossible to access in any medium or large car. The upstairs rooms involve very tricky narrow winding staircases and only really suitable for the young and fit!

Location was perfect as just a short walk into town with secure parking just across the road. Ideal for a one night stay or more if exploring the area. Evening meal was delicious and well priced

Appreciate it was an extremely old building but a shower would have been good (rather than a bath) and wifi connection could also have been better.

Very quirky place to stay in an exceptionally interesting old building. An absolutely superb high quality dining restaurant eaten in a beautiful courtyard. Chef studied with Paul Bocuse and so the standard was exceptional. Breakfast wonderful and so stylish as well. Nice people, friendly and easy parking on the street nearby.

The hotel has great character and the feel of a traditional French hotel. Some might find the building's historical nature not what they want - the creaking floorboards, for example - but I loved it. Outstanding dinner in the restaurant.

Wonderful old 16th century Inn in the centre of town. Quirky and fun. Huge room and very big bathroom. Excellent and unusual restaurant with lovely staff - roasting meat on a spit over a fire.

The bath towels were on the small side.

The location in a medieval relais station was spectacular. We enjoyed our time there. Breakfast offered a huge variety and set off us off to a great start.

The part of town looks a bit deserted. This is not anything the hotel could do anything about. The bathrooms could be a bit more up to date.
