Most HotelF1s seem to be located on the outskirts of towns and often on retail parks and this one is no different. Montpellier centre is about a 20 minute drive but there is another F1 closer to town and closer to the sea I believe. The hotel staff are brilliant and very attentive. Check-in was very simple and the rooms are really quite nice. On the way to the room, there is a slightly 'hostel' type vibe with the rows of shower cubicles and 'easy-clean' hallways but, once you're in your room, you could be in a basic hotel room anywhere. I forgot that I'd paid the extra £4 or £5 quid for my own bathroom which was a nice surprise and the shower and fitments were really modern and spotlessly clean. The aircon was a blessing at 39 Celsius and the bed was really comfortable. Parking is free and secured (fenced in and gated) and I believe that it's quite easy to get into town via public transport. Other bonuses included the large e.leclerc supermarket and filling station across the road along with lots of other shopping and the Aldi at the back of the hotel (both of which close at 20:00h). Breakfast is an extra 5 euros or so and is a basic continental style buffet with croissants, pastries, bread, cereal and honey, jam etc... Coffee and various teas are all included and, to be honest, I could drink a tenner's worth of coffee most mornings!! The staff are really superb. They like to chat and are very engaged with the guests - and they're local too so they're a mine of information about the area. I'll definitely stay at this F1 again when I next drive down the Rhone Valley

Friendly staff.

Very noisy neighbourghood and lots of traffic. The walls are very thin and all night you can hear whenever you the next room‘s TV is turned on. The room was absolutely not clean.

Everything worked well. But we had to pay again to get access to the rooms. The refund took about a week.

No soap in the soap dispenser in the shower. I understand this is a no thrill hotel but as I saw the soap dispenser in the shower I assumed there would be some soap in it, so I didn't get any. Too late to get some once you are soaked.

This place is really good if you are traveling with car and you need of one night stop in the way to others steps. The room was cleaned but it’s really really little. For the price is acceptable.
