Used as a stopover hotel on a longer journey. Ideally located a few minutes off the main motorway with ample free parking. The room was of a decent size with full A/C. Nice restaurant by the pool.

The toilet and bathroom in our room needed a little freshen up to the paintwork. No in room fridge. The buffet breakfast was OK but would have liked a choice of hot food such as sausage, bacon etc although eggs cooked three ways were available.

The réceptioniste whose name starts with R (Racim?) : always smiling and helpful. The swimming pool is just amazing!

Location is reachable only by car. Otherwise, it takes 50 min walk from the train station. Even in August there was a very warm bed cover and not a light one. The sheet was always moving, not attached at all, even if we tried.

Strange shower over the toilet. Meant that with the slope of the floor the toilet was very high. Couldn’t find a mirror it was hidden behind the bathroom door. Parking was difficult with a car statue in disabled spot.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Our room was a good size and very clean.The restaurant was open on a Sunday night and had a very good menu for both food and wine at reasonable prices. The hotel was also very well located not too far from the main road for our journey from Provence to the Loire region.

We received a free upgrade due to a wedding taking place, we were moved to a part of the hotel where we did not get disturbed by the noise. The restaurant had a good ambiance and a good, wide selection on the menu.

Although we did receive a free upgrade to a Spa Room, unfortunately the air conditioning was not great and the room was very warm due to the heat that day. I think the unit was just too small to be effective in the space.

The quality of the service and the location are well worth the price. For its price, it is a great find and the golf course looks wonderful. there is plenty of parking and the quiet of the hotel was much welcomed.

I would have expected more toiletries (such as a shower cap) being a 4 star, and the breakfast was minimal though good. The room was dimly lit and quite warm but the big window let a lot of light and air in.

Really convenient hotel on the outskirts of St Etienne. Very warm welcome from the receptionist. The countryside around the Town looks well worth exploring and the motorway from / up to Clermont-Ferrand is simply stunning. The inviting golf course has suffered this year (2022) from the very hot, dry Summer and though well supported, judging by the cars in the carpark, will take a wet, mild Winter to return to its best. The breakfast was outstanding; quite possibly designed by a golfer, for golfers.

The first bottle of wine we chose at dinner was well past its best but this was exchanged without fuss. Sadly our waiter, though attentive, had bad breath and looked as though he had turned up for work without his hotel attire. None of the restaurant staff gave the impression of enjoying their work or each other's company. All in all, a rather subdued vibe.

Very good hotel. Everything clean and nice. Nice reception. Great facilities by the pool. Nice breakfast. Great facilities by the pool where dinner and breakfast were.

Modern style with friendly and very helpful staff. Easy onsite parking with good restaurant.

Superior bedrooms for the cost are not very spacious and the shower in the bath is quite small.

It feels a little bit run down but when it’s busy during the high season with the swimming pool open and lots of guests around the atmosphere is probably more pleasant.
