We booked a two night stay here last minute as we found ourselves suddenly without accommodation. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a comfortable stay. The communal areas were kept clean and well stocked and the breakfast was fantastic - pastries, bread, cheeses, meats, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, etc. The rooms had plenty of space for luggage and beds were really comfortable!

My wife and I were staying in St Etienne for the France v Scotland rugby game - staff were genuinely interested, friendly plus suggested ideas to maximise our stay in the area. Hotel exactly what we were looking for, located very centrally to main square, dining and bars plus tram stop to get to game. Also provided map and guidance for seeing Loire Valley, breakfast more than we expected, extremely friendly plus had area for parking car !!!!

The brothers who own and run the hotel were fantastic. Polite and helpful. Typical continental breakfast but excellent quality and a great cup of coffee to get the day going. Great communication from the time of booking to help me with car parking and a few other matters. In addition, as we were there for Rugby World Cup, they gave us a lovely little gift when we checked out.

Moses and his brother Aman treated us as family. They are considerate and always on hand. Centrally located, relatively close to local transportation (tram).

The rooms are small but manageable. For elderly persons, the stairs could be a problem. We are in our early 80s and managed without a problem.

Great spot when you need to be in town. On top of that, it’s brand new, super calm for a place located in city center, and I found all the comfort I need after a long drive by night. The free and fresh breakfast was the Graal for me. Highly recommend the place.

Inn City is a converted silk factory in quiet cul de sac in the heart of St Etiene. The owner was kindly and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a great continental selection.

No problems.

The room was not very big, but very comfortable and the shared spaces were very nice. Breakfast was very good and the hosts was very friendly and helpful.

- in summer it’s a bit hot without AC, at least they have a fan
